Bitcoiners -  the price of bitcoin has risen more than 1000% in the past 3 months.  Join the movement!

First, we have partnered with BitPay to enable merchants in India to accept payment in bitcoin from their clients.  Bitpay has done more than $5 million worth of transactions in the month of March alone.  

Secondly, we have also partnered with buysellbitco.in to offer our clients a reliable solution to buy and sell bitcoin.  Buysellbitcoin is currently out of stock, but will be re-opening on April 10th.  

Third, come meet fellow bitcoiners at a bitcoin meetup near you.  Bitcoiners have started chapters in Bangalore and Ahmadabad.  Start a meetup near you!

Wish you all the best. Currently there is a long way to go guys.

1. Trading : Traders aren't trading in bitcoins in India. With the complexity of exchange and all bitpay simply isn't INR friendly at the moment.
2. Buying and selling : buysellbitco.in is currently a joke. You cannot buy from them "out of stock" is simply not acceptable with just a liquid currency. And did I mention you cannot sell!
In fact there is a huge gap here right now. There simply aren't people selling bitcoins in india. 'Bit_India' on localbitcoins.com is the only person across India trading in large numbers and is super fast and friendly.
3. Meetups : Get the basic infrastructure in place. Provide tech know-how & readymade refer material to people interested in conducting so.
Try to conduct a meetup in major metros at the earliest.
