i have 2 monitors and 2 gpus (rx 480s)

i have an hdmi in each one going to two monitors

how do i get this to work

first in gets 0.01 if it solves my problem

Are the 2gpus on the crossfire on the same motherboard?, you want 1 Screen to split on the two monitors or ?

it automatically detects if you have dual monitors while running on windows os. If not detected try right click on desktop and hange its resolution. Hope that helps your problem.

both are connected directly to mobo and from what i understand rx480s dont need crossfire bridge connectors

so how the hell can i get 2 monitors running

Put the 2 HDMIs on the same gpu and start your pc, go to settings and see if the second monitor is recognized. You can also connect the 2nd monitor with DVI cable too.

It's probably a setting in your BIOS that determines the order of the cards. Especially if your mobo has Internal Graphics, you'll get that.

i know I could use a dvi but is there no way to use 2 hmdis from to gpus to 2 monitors?

You're gonna need to run both on one GPU. Why do you even have 2 GPU if you're not mining?

try going into catalyst control center (right click desktop and it should be an option) the go to detect displays and it should detect both. you can run a monitor off each it just treats the gpus as separate for each monitor. what version of windows are you using?
