Bitstamp and Trezor collaborate to enhance bitcoin security

Bitstamp, a European Union-based bitcoin marketplace, has partnered with Trezor, leading bitcoin hardware wallet, for improved bitcoin security and user experience.
According to the official release, with the collaboration, Bitstamp will now support withdrawals for funds straight to the user’s Trezor. Embedded Trezor accounts will allow users to withdraw newly acquired bitcoins to the safety of their Trezor device in just a few clicks.

since MtGox and Bitfinex
exchanges and security are oxymorons
I fear for Trezor's security now, since they are associated with an exchange and them exchange specialists will find a way how to screw your coins up,no doubt

Trezor is a hardware wallet, and probably the most secure wallet out there at the moment. They will not share any "secrets" with Bitstamp

other than what would be needed to talk to their device. I think it is a excellent idea to add extra security to exchanges and also a good

strategy for Trezor to sell more hardware wallets. Hopefully they would work out some deal, to make the device cheaper, when there are

more companies pushing this device as added security.. Huh

On the contrary this is what makes a Trezor so great.  They bring in hacker groups and set them down in front of everything.  Code, schematics, etc... and they instruct them to hack away.  There are literally rooms full of folks pounding away on these things during hackathons.  A company that can show you its designs and then they encourage you to do your best.  Confidence inspiring!!  Code is open source and the hardware is displayed, while the invites to attack are offered.

yes,of course I'm aware of that Smiley
was just being sarcastic
Trezor is one of the most secure wallets
I am very happy with it,the only risk to lose coins is if you lose the physical device itself
after that incident Bitstamp should not use its name and security in one sentence, just not to sound silly.
