Today I received an email that someone else logged in on my bittrex account but in fact I haven't logged there for months, I don't know if there is a bug in their system so wanted to ask if anyone has received any similar email these days?

I personally receive those emails in both Bittrex and Poloniex  , If you got it then It means someone logged into your account and It can't be a bug that simply contact users with no reason unless they screwed up.
Other then that , you may want to use https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201289914-How-do-I-enable-two-factor-authentication-2fa- for an extra layer of security.

I have just checked my email too but there is no such email so i think actually your bittrex account was got accessed by someone else. Have you logged in your account after you get this message? Hope you didn't had any bitcoin there, Better to enable 2fa and change your password as soon as possible.

I also received these type of email every time i login.
if you haven't login for a long time and you receive such email, maybe bittrex wants you to login this time. its sort of a spam email to remind users they they still exist. bittrex is losing users trust and maybe they did it purposely.

If they are doing this kind of publicity stunt to increase their traffic and win back some customers, then no wonder they are losing people's trust

Two options there:

1. Legit mail from Bittrex and someone is trying to hack your account.
2. Spoofed mail from hacker who is trying to make you log in and potentially grab your login/password.

I remember their was a hate thread created about bittrex which i think is also true. That exchange sucks.
Coins that are only listed there indeed only aims to scam money from its users.

Checked my email and no, I didn't receive said mail. BUt, I do get a notification mail when I log in.

So, someone's probably got your log in details/you got hacked. BEst thing to do is change your details or something then enable the 2fa.

I doubt bittrex would send a hoax mail just to get a users' s attention. OH well. THey could have but I doubt it since if they did, they would have sent notification emails like that to all users who haven't logged in for some time. (Like me)

Today I received an email that someone else logged in on my bittrex account but in fact I haven't logged there for months, I don't know if there is a bug in their system so wanted to ask if anyone has received any similar email these days?

Quote
This is to notify you of a successful login to your account.

IP Address: (IPv6 not human readable)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/27.0.1453.93 Safari/537.36

this is a normal Email that bittrex (an many other places) send you whenever there is a "successful log in" to your account. this is a way of notifying you of all the activity on your account (read the first line of that email).

if you don't use bittrex anymore so you don't have to worry about anything.
it is possible that you have used a weak password or possibly similar password for another service that leaked your password to a hacker who tried to log in. so change your passwords immediately and never reuse same password on different places.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
