According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

yeah, i remember one ddos coin being announced in ANN section.

That is very interesting. I think though that It is just an idea for now and only has small parts of it implemented .
Whether used for good or bad it is still a unique and clever idea and those we need.

yeah, there are good uses for that but i dont think this was the case  Roll Eyes
any way, blockchain have awesome uses and it will be used a lot from now on.
