My exchanges are Bitstamp and BTC-E.
Bitstamp - It's my main trading platform for trading which has never let me down. Plus they are pretty quick when withdrawing EUR to my bank account.
BTC-E - Mainly used by me as an arbitrage exchange, but the fact that I can trade there, withdraw my coins at any time without any personal verification, makes it for me a fantastic exchange. It also happens to be the very first exchange I signed up to back in very early 2013.
Why is there no BTCe in that list?
That's also my thought. No Bitstamp as well. Especially when you consider that the list cointains quite a few trashy exchanges, but not one of the better exchanges in the industry.
I believe they have not been hacked before and so far they have not asked for documents from me to make trades and withdrawals with them.
The fact that the operators of BTC-E are (seem) quite relaxed, and don't share much information with the outside world, doesn't mean they have never been hacked. I of course hope they haven't been hacked with stolen coins as result, but every exchange will be, or has been subject to (successful) hack attempts.
