Hello,

I would like to know if it is worth to upgrade from a R9 280x to a R9 380x for a price difference of 20 Eur ?

 I manage to get 17,5 MH/s while mining Ethereum with a R9 280x.

 Thank you.

Yes it is worth the extra 20 euros. I have heard hashrates of 20MH+ on Tonga chips. is it a 4GB model?

The R9 280x is a MSI Gaming OC one. The R9 380x is an Asus Strix.

My 380X cards hash ETH at around 23MH/s.  Sapphires and Asus cards.  BIOS mod.
They are excellent buys when second hand.

Fellow miners, get your thens and thans in order and help other forum readers understand what you are writing. Remember the grammar basics:  B larger THAN A (comparator operator). If something THEN ....

I was asking about the memory, not the model.

Definitely the 380x then, not doubt about that. you should get 20Mh/s+ with this card.
