Oops! I am suppose to comment that I don't have problems with accessing Yobit an hour ago and then I realized I cannot access it now. Is this the first time it happened to them or many times already/ Sorry I am a newbie in Yobit and I don't have much time to search their history here in Bitcointalk.
Could be a DDoS attack on the Yobit DNS server  - as for me I'm having DNS resolution failures.

If you add the following entry to the windows hosts file it works =) (make sure you remove it later though)

Code:
104.20.95.169 yobit.net

IP for yobit.io comes from a similar IP address to yobit.net - so could be safe. The message comes from an official source then should be safe (so long as it was not hacked) - you could always try a password change so you dont type your password into yobit.io to be on the safe side.

For me, I just changed my host file to one of yobits IP addresses to circumvent the attack on the DNS server.

I have problems accessing yobit too.

I'm not sure if i can trust yobit.io.

How much time do you think will be needed to have yobit.net fixed?

I'm with the same issue here, I can't access the exchange and the Yobit icon stays in gray here (as the Bitcointalk forum was some time ago). I think it's the same problem or anything very similar (I hope so). Sooner or later the site will be back and we can make our transactions without problem.  Smiley

If you are still having problems chnage your host file (see higher up in the thread), Yobit is up - but its DNS server is being attacked. Bitcointalk is being DDoS attacked, there is some massive effort to disrupt the Bitcoin services network this week.

I tried yobit.io.

The bitcoin transaction fee seems to be 50k satoshi, i remember that about one month ago it was 20k satoshi.... Is a yobit.io issue or the fee as been raised also on yobit.net?

Someone knows?

Thanks.

No, I made a withdrawal on Yobit.net yesterday and the fee was also 50k satoshi. I usually withdraw in DOGE to reduce the fee - but in this case needed to transfer to a BTC only account...

yobit is best site and also a simple site to make trade . thia exchange have a very simple site map and you can handle your coin and altcoin easily .
during deposite you need to wait atleast 2 confirmation but during withdrawal it will give instantly .
but here i will tell second thing that is the domain name of this exchange is changed from .net to .io ( but i habe not logged in the my account from.the time when i got the new e-mail for change of domain name .

I can remember that the fee with yobit.net already increased to 50k satoshis before it shift to their new domain.

Wow really starmman you able to withdraw with yobit.net yesterday? Well congratulations to you because I can't even access yobit.net since yesterday and until now.

Because they are already into yobit.io and that's legit because of yobit news in email.

Yobit hasn't scam anyone but that site is very sketchy poor support with lots of issues. There behavior sometimes makes you think that they're scam.I don't use that site anymore.Sometimes people face technical problem while visiting their site and they have shown 0 Interest to solve problems Real quick.

I Recommend you to use Bittrex or polonix for trading.

The problem with yobit.net is a DNS error - I changed my host file to point to the yobit.net cloudflare IP address in order to circumvent the error.

True,  IP from  yobit.net is the same  on  the new  yobit.io, i could really  say  that  its  a legit  one and  not a  phishing site. There nothing to worry about on the  new  domain  of  yobit. Even thought  yobit  does  have  issues  but  its  not a scam for me    , deposits and   withdrawals  are okay.

I too think yobit cannot be completely termed as scam, just that they have very poor custom support as I have experienced and I heard it many times from other users here. One other problem is that their service is constantly down all the times, even today I found it down. Hope, they will resolve this issue sooner.

I agree, quite a few of the exchanges don't have great support either - Yobit hasn't run off with anybodies money, so can't be classified directly as a scam - a lot of the coins that are hosted on the site can be classed as scammy. Make sure you carefully research before investing in a coin on there that you've never heard of. Lots of profits can be made - but the same also goes for losses...
