Learn to MOD your own GPU ROMs

We are going to start with the basics.  Please read the OP of the following thread including all of the "Spoilers".  If you do not understand the basics and what exactly you are changing or trying to change then you risk completely screwing up and bricking your GPU.

Please feel free to look through other threads here like Eliovp's thread after you have read the above info.  It will quickly become apparent to you that there are a lot of people that do not understand the basics and therefore are unable to get the results they wish.  

I would recommend that you read ALL of the info even if it seems like you will not use it because it may explain a procedure that you may use later.  Some of the things to really pay attention to are the following:

1 - VID, DPM, EVV
2 - VDDC, VDDCI
3 - Offsets
4 - Learn to use AtomBios, a Hex Editor
5 - Learn what ASIC Quality means and the Leakage

Please do not try and flash a ROM if you are not 100% sure of what you are doing.

I am willing to answer questions about modding roms and help you mod roms.  PLEASE ask the questions on the thread and NOT by PM so others can learn from the questions.  I am asking you to do this out of respect for those that have put in tons of time on the threads on overclock.net and because that is the way they do it and it seems to work well.  

 I ask you to be respectful on this thread and please do not spam the guys with PM's here or on Overclock.net.  

Lastly, I am not interested in directly making ROM's for people.  If you are looking for someone to hire there are several people that are for hire that do a great job.

So with the RX 4GB cards, whats the most we can get while being stable? 28.3MH/s ?

Depends how far you can push the memory, some get 29mh, 27-28 mh is common and some just wont go past 25mh.

I am actually messing around with some 470 4gb and 480 4gb today.  I will post my results later today.  I expect 27.5-28 stable at low power but I suspect it may need a little more than the usual to get it stable.

Hi, how it comes that my card with the highest asics quality is the one that manage the OC in the worse way?

I have 5 x RX480 8 gb, 4 of them are running ok at +30 mhs, but this one doesn't. According to GPUz it can not manage 2200 mhz (memory)

Any idea?

Kilo17, can you please explain me something which  Eliovp explained a couple times and still doesn't sound right. He says if you add gloval voltage in the rom is better for the stabillity than adding static voltages. But my observations a little different.

Lets say a card got these states:

300mhz / 800mv
608 / 818
910 / 831
1077 / 956
1145 / 1018
1191 / 1062
1236 / 1112
1306 / 1150

And when you  add global offset -100 lets say its equal to:

300mhz / 800mv-100=700
608 / 818 - 100 = 718
910 / 731
1077 / 856
1145 / 918
1191 / 962
1236 / 1012
1306 / 1050

I dont know how to do this in the bios but when i do this in Wattool (adding global offset) the card becomes unstable on the lower states. Best solution i found is to make this in wattool:
lets say i want to get 1100 on 900mv

300mhz / 800mv
608 / 900
1100 / 900
1100 / 900
1100 / 900
1100 / 900
1100 / 900
1100 / 900

If you can clarify a bit it will be great, thanks!
