I just checked your site that you are not having any set up guides for windows. Does it mean Szilla VPN does not support windows?
$5 per month is very cheaper price for a VPN services but I am unable to find out what are the IP locations available with your services.

Good shout about Windows support.

In the beginning one of our design goals was to build a system without the requirement for additional client software. As such, we are limited to *nix like operating systems that support SSH out of the box. To be fair you can probably do this in Windows with Putty/PuttyGen, but its not are main target audience.

With regard to locations, we're currently offering service in London and Germany, but its trivial for us to deploy a new service just about anywhere (takes around 60 seconds).

since this is a very new service do you offer any trial version to test the VPN service first?

also do you support OpenVpn or do we have to download your special .exe installer?

We don't offer a free trial,  but you can pay for as little as an hour of usage.

For trust reasons we didn't want to go down the route of supplying a custom connection client, so there isn't anything to install. Instead we rely on functionality that is built into most *nix based operating systems. Admittedly that means Windows support is limited... so we're really pitching at Linux/OS X crowd.

In terms of the protocol, we actually use SSH, which has a few big benefits. The main advantage is an inherent level of packet anonymity, which means your ISP won't know that you are using a VPN (as with Open VPN). In turn this is great news if you are in the UAE, China or similar.

Overall I'd say that our aim is to be as transparent as possible. By engaging with the community we hope that we can improve, while gaining trust.
