Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

Change GBP to EUR

SEPA transfer to GOX

===============

I am looking into this am am still confused with the TransferWise part.

When I logon to TransferWise the only option I get is to send money to a recipient. Is this the SEPA and is the recipient GOX ?

Can you give detail example how to do it please as I am pulling my hair out here.

Many thanks

Is there no deposit options?

Try looking here for some transferwise related information:

Thanks for the TransferWise tip. I used Xe.com for my last transaction; also a nice service but requires waiting for 2 banks transfers.

A real shame there are no faster methods in the UK.. UKash is a reasonably quick option, but you lose ~20% of your investment.

appears not to be, www.transferwise.com

Only option is to send money and you need a recipient to send it to.

As far as I understand you send in GBP to your own transferwise account, transferwise converts it to EUR and you can then send a SEPA EUR payment to whichever exchange you use.

Pretty simple.

I can sell you BTC in exchange for physical gold, sovereigns for example.  You would have to send insured to US, PM me if interested.

Simply sign up to transferwise: http://transferwise.com/u/f0bd

Open bitstamp

Click SEPA deposit on bitstamp page to get payment/banking information

Back to transferwise and input the details from bitstamp by pressing the "make a payment"

Upload your funds to transferwise by debit card or bank transfer and when they get that payment, the will then send it on to bitstamp as a SEPA payment.

24-72 hours later your bitstamp account should be credited and ready to buy bitcoin

you can try bitbargain prices are kind of steep but they are pretty fast, transferring via SEPA to MTGOX can take up to 14 working days. probably longer with all the problems they have had recently + in 14 days BTC could go up quite alot.

Bitbargain charge far too much, totally goes against their name, having bargain in it lol!

14 days for a sepa transfer is ridiculous. Time to switch banks and market funding strategy.

Use vircurex, bitstamp or another if you dont want to use gox.

transferwise should have a SEPA payment credit to which ever account you are funding in around 3 days max
