Trading halted for two hours, all mtgox said on twitter was it's due to high trade volume. Sounds like BS because now that trades are going through there hasn't been especially high volume.

It worked just fine lastnight, and it seemed to have high volume (not to mention the price of 1 BTC increased nearly 40% in USD).

Also, I blame NGINX. They should make sure gzip compression is at a reasonable level that doesn't lag the server, and they should at-least have the browser cache their JS and images. I'm only speaking from this experience as I'm a web developer.
