Might I suggest that some one or a group of individuals red ANY NEWBIE asking to exchange in this section immediately.

It is done in the investor based games section of this forum so why not here.

I am seeing it happen far to often scamming newbies that either have an aged account (no trade histor) or just created an account the same day luring members here to exchange with them and then running off without completing the other party's exchange.
This is unexceptable and NEEDS TO STOP NOW!

These people are seeing this place to get FREE MONEY/BTC from their scam jobs/work.

The parasite hates three things: free markets, free will, and free men.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Please stop walking around like you own the place.  This is a FREE trading forum, a newbie posting deals to purchase BTC with reversible payment methods like paypal should already act as red flags for most people.
For the people that get scammed, they simply didn't care enough about their money AND will probably be much more diligent in the future.
You can feel free to warn users about trading with untrusted users.

Also, I'm reviewing your posts and it seems as though you still didn't take your morning of java since we last spoke. Wink  Maybe it's the right intentions but you are simply encouraging bickering, name-calling, and so on.  Maybe do it via private messaging?

So what do you suggest?
Dealing with it the way that CryptoDevil is not doing it the right way to deal with the scammers whom are getting bolder with their scam attempts on members here isn't the right way to do this policing?
And private messaging does what? It does not expose the scammers from what they truly are.
So you want this to be transparent? That solves nothing monbux.

Honestly, I'm not fully against the idea.  It's just hard to take the same side as someone acting this hotheaded.

I saw thru his lies and even outed him as the alt of brisco who scammed many people before disappearing when this piece of shit showed up. That is why I instantly said not to trust this filthy excuse for a human being, but people did not listen one bit! Tongue

Did those smaller trades to gain our trust then waited until got some poor victim for a larger amount then boom! Scam the hell outta him.

I hope you rot in hell you poor excuse for human kind and your mother is disgraced from your actions of what you did today if you even have one you motherless worm!
Angry

Why is this kind of harassment necessary?  He's probably a scammer, OK, negative trust him, warn users, etc. etc.  No need for unprofessionalism, it makes you look just as bad (exaggeration).
Tell me, does name calling, bickering, and insults from you expose the scammers for what they truly are?

When you are proclaiming to do this alone then I do find this to be the only way to make your point heard.
And no, name calling is unprofessional I do agree with you.
But it does stick in the mind when their alts (and they will come following up after them) come looking for their next scam job.

These scammer who exchange small amounts to farm trust/positive feedbacks from trusted members
Trusted members or matter everyone should cease leaving feedback or leave feedbacks for high value trade or atleast leave feedbacks only after certain period of time

You make a good point.  I gave a positive feedback to the linked thread that mixan provided.  The thread is now locked Huh  Does not look good for that trader.   Undecided

I did not take into account that the trader was looking for a small trade to boost feedback.  I thought that this was btc they got from faucets.  It isn't easy to discern small trades from big trades...this was not a $5 trade.  Anyhow, if the trader who locked the thread is indeed a scammer, I will remove my positive feedback.  Mixan, perhaps you should red tag him?  Tongue

Maybe instead of red-tagging newbs who trade, how about in big red letters, post "Warning, Newbie"

I did not get a response back from this guy and Wildkens confirmed it was the exactly same paypal address that he sent/received paypal funds from this user that took my $50 in paypal from me and have not received any bitcoins from.
Now when I come back after giving ample time to respond to me and/or pay me what I bought from him I got nothing in return but a locked thread to look at.
I am with instantly marking these scammers with red just as The Pharmacist has been doing with selling of bct accounts. Because that has seemed to work. There has to be something done about this and mixan is not in the wrong here.
I the one who had this done too demand justice and if losing $50 to have this come to fruition then so be it.

When newbies PM you, they have a very noticeable red warning.
I think the discussion is about red trusting the newbies that want to exchange with a payment method that is reversible right from the get go.
Just like how some individual is doing in the investor's based games section is. And that seems to be warning unsuspecting victims to being in a heap of trouble once they get involved with these individuals who are looking to scam the unware like myself that got duped into "trusting" in the trust system here. I would of only turned away if I saw red on ys188s profile and not of even considered of sending first no matter what if atleast one of them was that way.

I think you title is incomplete? Wink
Well ... since buying/selling accounts is allowed on forum there is a high risk of scam/spam.
I saw there is an ongoing antispam campaign on forum.
A scammer is just ... a scammer.
It does not matter if is newbie or not.
Giving them a red mark it does not help too much (my opinion)

I think everyone has right to exchange BTC, but its up to you that do you want to send money first to newbie.

You can always ask for Escrow, and usually scammers deny that.

Or, like in this latest case, why would one send money first to some newcomer.

You are against new traders?  A newbie doesn't mean a scammer. No one can help the idiots who send first to a newbie. What this forum needs is common sense not stupid rules that alienate newbies and hinder bitcoin adoption.

What I saw is old members are monopolizing this forum. And thinks they own it. Others act like they moderators even they are not.

The thing is that the trade that came about was when this member became a junior member from receiving trust from green trusted members thus fooling the buyer into believing it was alright to send first to them.

And this was a service to the less fortunate members who nobody was going to trust to trade paypal with and not monpolizing this section of the forum (well the currency exchange part of the forum before this was moved to meta Roll Eyes ).
Now nobody will read this before engaging in a potential trade scam attempt by newbie/members gaining trust becoming junior-member status/ in a false exchange(request to send too the con artist first) to rip them off of their paypal/skrill/btc/what have you.

And superiorus, the title was incomplete (not enough room to allow anymore). It was going to say ..using reversible methods of payment.
That's all. But I disagree with your last point about giving red trust. I will deter one from trading with such an individual when they see it and save one from getting scammed.
!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

Lol, no way bitcoin is worth more I am selling this to the other 3 people that asked not a rip off

With the above person, i give them a week before one of these "trusted users" truly "rips them off" that they claim that I am doing to them by asking for another exchange at my given rate.
From all their posts on here thus far, it shows they are truly clueless of the forum. Roll Eyes
I am not here to make friends or give up my money to their demanding rates, I am here offering a requirement that I saw this part of the forum needed. A trusted exchanger via paypal. Where I have never not sent out a payment, NEVER for an exchange once it has been initialed.
I have taken several bumps and bruises dealing in the currency exchange section, so this declaration does deserve a bit of respect as it is my opinion and see it as more of a help than a hinder for any future potential exchanges here.
