would these graphics cards be good for mining litecoins?

hello everyone, i have found a good deal on two of these graphics cards.

i see that on the hardware comparison site that the 5870 is indeed okay when it comes to litecoin mining, but does that also go for this "eyefinity-6-edition" i dont really know what the difference is from this and a reference 5870, so if anyone could explain that and tell me if this would do about as much as a stock 5870 (3-400 kh/s)

It is a normal 5870 with 6 display outputs. You can connect 6 monitors to it. Usually video cards have less outputs, since well, almost no one need 6 monitors. But except that, it is a normal 5870, just with moar outputs.

ATI cards are classified in 3 levels based off their 4 digit number. The x9xx series is the top version of any generation. xx90 indicates a dual core card, xx70 the top single core and finally xx50 the second best single core. Thus the current top dog is the 7990 which is a single card that has two 7970 GPU cores inside of it. The 5850 that you are looking at is therefore 2 generations old AND was in the second series and tier of quality for it's time.

This is not to say it's a bad card, I just want to make sure you understand what you're looking at.

i understand they are not exactly new cards, but i can get two of these for about half of what i would have to pay for one 7970, so if u say that these will perform allright, then it would be foolish to not buy them i guess.
