I use the cointracking.info website to track my bitcoin investment. It's a great service but it lacks one very important feature -- it doesn't have the INR currency in their list of fiat currencies. This forces me to convert rupees into dollars to enter my trades.
I recently contacted the website and requested them to add INR to their list of fiat currencies. In their reply they said they haven't added INR because they don't know of a source where they can get the history of BTC/INR prices.
Does anybody know where they can get this information?
Your help will be appreciated.

I doubt there will be a site tracking the price in INR. You could perhaps ask the Indian exchanges if they have been tracking it. Your other option would be to run a bot and convert prices to INR for all the data you have.

I don't think lot of sites will have history of BTC <-> INR price chart from the scratch. But still you can try this site: https://bitcoincharts.com having price chart from Apr 13. I think they were extracted from localbitcoins!

Google displays this rate on their website, but I am not sure of their source. https://www.google.com/finance?q=BTCINRPreev also gives you a rate for BTC vs INR http://preev.com/btc/inr

The coinbase.com wallet shows the bitcoins stored in rupees. I have recently found the beta version of coinbase ( https://beta.coinbase.com) shows the fluctuations in price directly in rupees. Though, using a wallet in its beta phase may be risky. Screenshot : Ps : they have histograph for ethreum too.

So their mere calculations will be based on USD prices multipled with USD to INR convertion. This or even the google prices is not the true indication of INR prices for BTC.

Use google mate. Search up BTC to INR and it'll show you a chart of the history.

Google just seems to be converting USD/BTC prices to INR/BTC prices. It doesn't reflect the actual price of BTC in India.

Can this data be exported? Is this feature already there and have I missed it? I don't think Unocoin has anything to lose by letting this data to be exported.

This problem has been resolved to some extent. Cointracking.info is now taking INR/BTC price from bitcoinaverage.com. However, bitcoinaverage.com averages prices from BTCxIndia, Coinsecure and Localbitcoins. Zebpay and Unocoin apparently are not factored into the average price, which is unfortunate because most people in my opinion buy BTC from Zebpay and Unocoin.
In any case, it's still better than converting USD/BTC prices to INR/BTC.

Cannot be exported unless you take values from HTML source code. Sure nothing to lose. It is just some development work. If anyone needs it for a peericular purpose, happy to get this from database and provide a copy.

I remember once I searched for this before, and the answer that I got was Yahoo Finance. Try to search for BTCINR there and you will get the data you are looking for.
