You can't calculate preciselly how long it will take for transaction to get confirmed by the network. It depends on the fee and the amount of other transactions with same priority, and that's always a variable value. The best you can do is use recommended fee+, and cross fingers.

Here you go, you can see the effective cost for calculating your transaction time. https://bitcoinfees.21.co/but in this time the effective cost are very high for me.

Thanks for this i bookmarked it so that i can review my transaction.. the good fee per bytes is 110 satoshi according to link.. and i think my fee for transaction is below 110 satoshi.. Thats why i'm halving delayed transaction.. When this transaction change this is not the same before?

Thats why i'm halving delayed transaction.. When this transaction change this is not the same before? Tx fees are dynamic and change based upon the current state of all pending txs. To answer your original question: Lock Time Block: xxxxxxx, would normally mean that at that block number, your tx would be allowed to be confirmed only then. So for example, if we are at a block height of 500 and your tx has a locktime of 560, then you need 60 blocks more before your tx will be able to be confirmed within a block. So 60 blocks of locktime with each block being roughly 10 minutes each would mean that you need to wait 600 minutes or 10 hours before that tx could be "allowed" to be mined within a block. The issue with your tx taking so long to confirm is likely not related to the locktime in this case. It was likely related to the recent backup in pending txs and your tx having a lower end fee.

Just remember to visit this site, before you do a transaction and not to work on fees that was recommended on a previous transaction. The recommended fee change all the time, so you have to check back in with every transaction. I always pay a little higher fee than what is suggested, and I never have to wait for hours to get my transactions confirmed. ^smile^ It is a recommended minimum fee, so you can play around with a slightly higher fee.

When this transaction change this is not the same before? yup you're right, if you provide highest fee in this case higher than recomended fee then fastest confirmation you get, anyway 2 days ago i've checked the website that shinratensei mentioned and the cheapest and fastest fee per bytes was 100 satoshis, but now it's 110 satoshis seems like the recomended fee has increased from time to time, hoping that i might be wrong, anyone can confirm this???

I don't think there is any exact way of calculating the time of a transaction as it all depends on the fees you have paid for it and the traffic in the network, because at the time you are processing a transaction also a lot of others are doing it as well, so if you want your transaction to get more priority you should probably increase the fees, that is how it works i guess.

Yup it depends upon fees which we are defining speed of the transactions. Then blocks also play big role to transfer the bitcoins and the it will transact through the multiple blocks while it transferring to other wallet.

Yeah the speed of transaction are varies to your fee.. just like yesterday i update a new electrum wallet i notice that there is a choices right now either you pay for high fee or low fee so i tried to send with low fee but according to electrum if i set to low fee within 25 blocks before its confirm and if i choose high fee next block will be confirm so i think this is not the same before.. and they are relaying in the fee for priority..

@op maybe this can help https://btc.com check the size of unconfirmed transactions first before sending a transaction, it can help you how much fees you must pay too. Well, IMHO you don't have to pay much if there are only few unconfirmed transactions in the network coz your transaction will be picked up by most pools even with normal fee of 10-20k satoshi per kb

It depends upon the fees you are determining to transfer your bitcoins. normally when you send with minimum requirement fees. It will send with in 20 to 40 minutes with in 4 blocks via blockchain. So minimum fees is enough to transact your bitcoins to others wallet.

That cross finger thing made me laugh. lol. By the way as he mentioned we cat really calculate on how long it would confirm because it really depends on the network. If you dont put any fee when you transfer bitcoin then for sure it would took long enough some have the same problem too hence they even wait more longer hours than you, some take up to 36 hours but in my case max is 3 hours hence i do always put above average fees when i do send bitcoin to another wallet if im in a rush then put up more fee would be recommended but if not then dont bother to do so.

You can't really calculate how many hours it will take sometimes it's delayed and its normal but after that everything is alright once it showed up that you are recieving bitcoin then you can really receive that no matter what. just be patient and you will receive that i think block chain is just delayed a bit.

You simply can't because we can't estimate in how many minutes or hours a block will be mined. For example this transaction took 15 hours and this maybe because of the low fees and because of greater number of transaction on that time frame.

Yes very true you can't really calculate or preciselly how long it will take some time transaction is getting delayed it because of flood in the network and it always depends on the fee and amount to will take i am agree with ajareselde but if your bitcoin is from gambling then you can choose with the fee's and how long it takes.

Many factors affects on time required by miner to verify particular transaction. Firstly fee allocated for particular transaction. Then next its up on luck as which miner going to solve block where your transaction is held on blockchain. Lower fee may cause trouble as transaction never get verified.
While mining block height and difficulty level can also take some time to verify transaction on blockchain. Some service provider require 1 confirmation but many of require 3 confirmations for verification and validation of amount transact.

you Can Calculate Or Predict the the Time Of Bitcoin Transaction Needs To Confirm the Transaction Because The Time Taken By Bitcoin Network to Confirm the Bitcoin Transaction Mainly Depends Upon On Two Factors:- 1) The Fees You Paid For Transaction i.e. If Yoy Paid Low Fees then Your Transaction will Confirm After Long Time..... 2) Also the Transaction Speed Depends Upon the Bitcoin Network If the Bitcoin Network is Strong Then the Transaction Will Confirmed Faster....
