Seriously Auroracoin  Cheesy I thought it was a scamcoin and died ages ago.

And you were right, the next bunch of scammers have just moved in now to try milk some more money out of it. The people running it now are a well know group of scammers.
Go ahead post something critical on their announcement  like asking them when they might actually do anything of any significance and watch it be deleted immediately.

No shit! These premine scams were all the same.

1. Anonymous dev, collect and dump portion of coins
2. Community takeover by same people that can't take the blame because they never started it and only trying to help out.
3. False promises and hype to try dump as high as possible.
4. Step 3 rinse and repeat.

Also quit claimng "40,000 Icelanders got AUR" because that's completly wrong.

40K wallets recieved AUR from a massive 50% premine, that much we agree upon.

~BCX~

Yeah, there isn't much evidence that Icelanders received the coin much less used it. Iceland's population is only 320,000 - if they were serious it shouldn't have been difficult to get everyone involved with the coin...

the polls suggest that the pirate party could win the elections which is really huge and that will be a boost to the free movement and the the netizen's but when it comes to virtual currency i do not think Auroracoin is the answer, they have to adapt a different approach regarding that but i am sure they will support the crypto movement
