Just be transparent, fair and nice to players. IMO in the end what counts most is history that shows real players have played on your website without any problem. So in the end, only time (months/years of running a legitimate gambling site) will gain you trust. But even after a long history, I would stay away from sites with an inactive admin/support - so that's another important thing.

I would also add some other things you need to have one is the most important is the provably fair system which is a key thing, another is the customer support which must be live 24/7 and ready to provide response to customers complaints, another one is for you to be ready to announce s soon as possible if you are having issues in other not to give room for unnecessary speculations and finally your TERMS that could be misconstrued should be explained very well...

It is great to see new gambling site, in order to gain trust you need to prove that your game is provably fair, trust is not gain immediately it need process, but if you are honest and legit site don't be afraid, you will gain your trust , you need to be more focus on your advertising and what kind of things that can make your site better than the others

You've already mentioned the essential points needed any gambling sites another addition is the instant withdrawal no matter big or small  they have to process it immediately because as far as I know the owners of gambling will check withdrawal with a large amount.

Check the one in my signature. I was surprised when i saw it.
Trustworthines you will gain only over time. Everyone is careful with new gambling sites. Same as with exchanges or any internet business.
Attract people with some free offers. And after longer period of time stay.
