their were called gods to whom the word of God come to. You should also read the whole John10:34 and also pray for understanding. I will also advice you to never, condemned what you don't know. I believe you are a baby in this.
First I am going to attempt to fix your typos, and/or grammatical errors. I assume English is not your first language?
*They* were called gods to whom the word of God come to. You should also read the whole John 10:34 and also pray for understanding. I will also *advise* you to never *condemn* what you don't know. I believe you are a baby in this.
Now I will respond to each sentence.
*They* were called gods to whom the word of God come to.
I think what you are trying to say here is that those who hear the word of God are gods. That might be the case, but that is not what John 10:34 is referring to.
You should also read the whole John 10:34 and also pray for understanding.
I have read the whole John 10:34. Here it is:
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? John 10:34 KJV
But I assume you meant for me to read all of John 10 as I suggested you do.
Really the part that pertains to this discussion is verse 30 through 36.
My summarization of John 10:30-36:
Jesus said He and God are one. This made the Jews mad and they were going to stone him. Jesus was like woah wait a minute, I have done many good things with my Father, what are stoning me for. The Jews said they were not going to stone him for the good things, but because it was blasphemy for a man to make himself God. Jesus says "It is written in your law, God says you are "gods". Now you are saying it is blasphemy for me to say I am the Son of God?"But you should also include Psalm 82:6, because in John 10:34 Jesus is referring to Psalm 82:6. As you mentioned in a previous post.
I suggest again we look at all of Psalm 82 for context clues.
Here is my summarization of Psalm 82:
God said "You are "gods" because you are all sons of Me".
The "gods" don't know anything and have no idea what they are doing.
You will die because you are mortal and fall like everyone else.So basically Jesus is saying "Yeah so what? I called myself a "god", but a "god" is an idiot that does not know anything and is just a mortal who is going to die."
Moving on....
I will also *advise* you to never *condemn* what you don't know.
Yup, you got me on this one. I may have said it in a strong and definite way that you were wrong. I apologise for that and for the fact that I am probably doing it again in this post.
And finally...
I believe you are a baby in this.
This really brings me back to the point I really wanted to make but didn't because I was hoping you would find it on your own.
Correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe your intent with your original post is a form of evangelism, you are attempting to turn people towards God?
If that is the case then I offer the following:
- Don't tell people they don't know the Bible and need to understand it better.
- Don't go around telling people you are god.
- Don't call people names.
There are right ways to do evangelism, but those are not it.
Now my disclaimer:
All of the information that I posted above is from me spending a few minutes searching on Google.
I do not know the Bible, I just know I get really tired of hearing people telling me or other people that we need to know the Bible better and spouting of verses.
Like somehow that is going to make me suddenly want to start going to church and reading the Bible.
This applies to everything, including Bitcoin.
You are not going to convince people to use Bitcoin by saying "You need to use Bitcoin, start reading Satoshi's whitepaper now!"
Wow, I need to go to bed....
