What does it matter what the per coin cost is ? It just means it will be broken down into smaller amounts. Though I do get that it is strange a coins is worth more then btc but it is probably more rare ? Or like the guy a few posts above said about how the price is for when a new console comes out.

do you guy remember 42coin, the value was crazy, i remember 1500 btc for one or somehting, so having this high value is nothing special, it mean that the supply is very low for this coin

that was the whole point of 42 coin. there were only ever gonna be 42 of them. a fun gimmick if nothing else. the z people really should've upped the supply or had a significant amount ready. this is making them look silly.

I think it was a marketing move from Zcash team. I don't think people are that stupid to pay ridiculous amount of money to a trash. It's still way overpriced, it would down %10000 for next 7 days. When the hype is over only buyers will cry. Make money out of thin air, brilliant idea!

The hype for this coin will settle down in a week or even less, what with this coin being dumped and rebought. Pretty much a revived 42coin, albeit with higher initial volume and more hype. Expect the price to go in a similar fashion to 42coin; there's just not much else to do with it except for the enhanced security it has over bitcoin. If it even survives, which I doubt it will, the price will be around or lower than 1BTC.

This is exactly what Zcash reminded me of. 42coin was a silly coin that had almost no real features and it was just worth a lot because the supply was so small (Just 42 coins) Supposedly I think zcash has some new features in comparison to scrypt/bitcoin coins. |

It looks really crazy.
But honestly I start to think that it is a ponzi scheme,there is no way that the mining costs are that high to produce a single Zcash.
I hope that the price will be stable soon,as I really like the idea of zcash

0.69964261 btc each still is a good price to dump. I'm not familiar with the coin but I would like to think zcash would be useful for its holder. I'm just too late, its only now that i joined a signature campaign and saw there are a lot of money to earn in crypto. If I just have about 10zcash while its value is 8btc each, i must have dumped them all for btc.  |

It may depend to zcash usefulness to which i know nothing about except that it offer untraceable and anonymous transaction.
