There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I'd say here http://zcash.flypool.org/

but I'm only able to CPU mine  atm because the GPU miner they link crashes with in second of using and i Can't find another windows based Zcash miner that works with that site and this one is looking like it gonna be the best site.

or try here

http://coinsforall.io

they have a miner that only works on that site or would only work there for me .

Both seem to be very stable .

it depend more right now on the software miner and  OS your using then the pool .

Hope that helps

thanks top

Hi,

I'm just a newbie and my info might not be correct at all.

After mining ZCash in 4 pools for days (using Sapphire 1 X RX480 4G), below is my comments:

a) Nicehash - small pool, stable sol rate, low requirement for paid out but be patient cos they are just a small pool

b) Flypool - big pool, sol rate up and down all the time (cos I think the admin is working hard to tune the pool), high requirement for paid out or high payout fee for small amount

c) Coinmine - big pool, stable sol rate, low requirement for paid out, detail for user to keep track of their workers

d) Coinsforall - I just don't recommend.

So, if you want to get small mined coins in short time for limited sol, coinmine or flypool might be a good choice. If you've patient, nicehash might suprprise you.

Just some more words. Long run business make big money, good mining pool is really making big money and hope some mining pool admins understand.

Regards,

RX78 Pilot

I mine here. The pool is run by the same folks who run http://ethermine.org which is where I mine ethereum. I have had no issues with http://ethermine.org and would expect similar from http://zcash.flypool.org with the understanding that there may be hiccups from time to time as the new pool software for a new coin is sorted out. From what I can tell, the team has always made good on their promises to pay out for mining that occurred while they fixed issues.

The http://ethermine.org pool operators were also active in the community forums and I would expect the same from http://zcash.flypool.org which goes a long way to making a pool worthwhile.

Cheers,

- zed
