Why trading is better than gambling?

Its because you have more control on the outcome than gambling. Gambling is  purely risky and you have no outcome on the result. With trading you can do your study and invest accordingly. For the same reason there are professional traders but no professional gamblers.

Currently with the bitcoin price rising, it's easy to earn a lot of profit by trading. I myself bought coins at 650 and sold it today at 704 which earned me a good amount of profit. With gambling, you are playing a game and if you win/lose, you lose the entire amount which is not the case with trading where you can withdraw your investment atleast.

Good deal you made. I tried this trade thing only once with an alt-coin and it wasn't good for me, so I never tried anymore.

I think it's better to trade with BTCs, it's more guaranteed, because we know BTC price is always rising, maybe the price can go down a bit, but surely will increase later. The alt-coins are very treacherous, we never know if they will "die" or not...

I think it's better because it's harder to be 'greedy' when trading. I have tried a few times and found out you cannot trade like you gamble (going all in on speculations and stuff). It's better if you cannot control yourself.

Don't say that as you know all about trading and gambling, not all traders are become successfull, its not easy to trade, its not just you trade with 0.001 then wait the price of that alt increase then thats all, so what your profit? Well its not easy though even the traders who have experince more than 2 years already got a problem from there trades and sometimes they cannot make profit on it because there's no easy way to make money. Specially in gambling, its designed to be fair but the winner always the owner of the site, there you have only 50-50 there 50% to win and 50% to lose in every bet so if you're lucky enough to have many wins, then its good for you not for the others.

With trading you can find patterns, use information in the public to speculate on prices whereas with gambling the house always wins in the end.

And how many intelligent and experienced traders read and interpreted the signs and patterns in a wrong way before?
At first glance trading might be better because you have semblance of control over your assets but it hard - especially with cryptocurrency.

Youre  friend was right  its better to engage  into trading hence  you could able to  make profits  with it  rather than   playing gambling  which  would not give  you nothing  but   a lose  of soo much money.  Actually theres lot  of ways  to earn  bitcoin  not  only thru gambling and  trading though.   Trading  is  not  better than  bitcoin  because   you trade  on bitcoin itself and other  cryptos. Trading  is  just  buying  a certain coin  on  low  prices and  selling   on a high price which would generate profits. Trading  isnt an easy thing to do but  you could  still learn  it as  long you are dedicated to engaged with it.

It maybe faster but the potential in earning with trading is boundless.  If you have skills and knows alot of strategies in trading, you can be able to book lots of profit in short period of time.  Unlike gambling where you can pull out your bet once you roll the machine,  You can exit in trading even if you have bought the stocks or coin anytime you want.

At first all thing are hard to know especially if you don't know and experience it maybe you should try also trading to compare which is more better. Trading is about buying and selling while gambling is betting and playing much more on fun .in short if you want profit you go trading and for fun play gambling.

trading is better than gambling because it is a skill based, it's mean you can earn money or profit based by your skill, the more you experience in trading the bigger your chances of getting profit, while in gambling you only rely on your luck and when you out of luck then you will lose all your bet, no matter how long you have gamble your winning chance won't be increase

I agree with you, trading gives us chances to learn and implement our knowledge on the right trade and get out in profit. But gambling is something different where losing once can make someone addicted to do it more and there is no way except to gamble.

But, I strongly believe for trading also we must need luck. Because when you're holding a position in your trading, you might need your luck to favor you so that any bad news will not affect your predictions of target. If you are unlucky when you are holding a position a bad news might change everything, till open a position we need knowledge but to reach target we need luck.

If your playing against a skilled player in skilled based games then both should win right because both got game skills? But both can't win in any game, and only one will win got a luck along with skill, so the game decider is luck, not the skill. So gamble only for fun and invest some other places to grow your money.
