Why trading is better than gambling?

Both have the characteristics of winning or earning profits based on luck and hard work too. One example is playing an online dice game, you can set your chance of winning from 0.01 to 99% chance of winning but your profits varies on the % of winning. You cant do this in trading, but you put your money on a coin that pumped for that day earn something before they stopped pumping the coin.

Trading is far better than gambling, if you put your  money in some good and promising coin than hold for few months to get nice profit. Its not easy and not fast but constant profit from trading is quite real.

Both were risky ,it will determined our strategies, in trading we need to forsee the coins value while in gabling we need to analyze whether it's the time to bet that amount or not. It is all about deciding in what time.

Still gambling is more riskier than trading. In gambling, once we lose, we lose all the bitcoins that we bet but on trading we are not losing all our coins but only some percentage, depend on the market. If we talk about which one is riskier, gambling is the one but for which one better, i can say trading is better than gambling.

I dont think that it is suitable for everyone because whenever I try to make money from gambling, I always lose everything that I bring. Lol I do not think gambling is like too good to be true.  Gambling never promised us a sure win nor sure profit.  It only gives us a chance of winning.  Unlike any HYIP and Ponzi scheme that promise its investors a lot of thing that makes it look like too good to be true.  Though i always believe that investing in legit projects and venturs is better than gambling, investing in HYIPS and Ponzi's is way worse than gambling itself.  In gambling you have a chance but with those fraud company, you already lost your money once you invest in them.

I so much agree with you and I have noticed that if you are new to the system, there is always a better chance of you winning very good for a start.

I haven't seen anyone who came in immediately and quickly got burnt instantly. Then gradually they get enticed and before you know it, they are already deep and then they try their hands on bigger amount and that is where it all starts or probably the streaks of losses just keeps coming more the older they get in the system.

In trading when the price fall down you will not lose unless you sold your coins you can wait for the price will pump unlike in gambling either you will win or lose for the specific game, gambling is high risk compared to trading

Gambling was well expalined with an practical example.In gambling you can make hige profits but in trading the profit percentage is less.But the loss percentage in gambling is very very high when compared to trading.So if you have excess amount of money then you can go for gambling but if you depends on your capital then you must conectarte on reading.happy trading.

I agree with the second part and that is why the first part becomes wrong because a high risky game will not produce high profits but high loss and this is what happens in the world of gambling mostly. If someone is rich then it is better to establish one's own business.

Definitely trading is much profitable in gambling because it is for long term investment while in gambling its just for fun only and loosing our money here is not profitable and a wise thinker. Very well said..Trading is always better than gambling just like a good trader can never be deficit but the span of time is longer to achieve profit than gambling you will earn even in a second if you are just lucky enough.So put things in mind that in every situation their is always advantage and disadvantages.

Trading is better because gambling depends on pure luck. On the other hand, trading can be successful, if you make a wise or educated trade. You can apply your knowledge, experience, and skills in trading.

I agree because in gambling we don't have any assurance that we will earn a lot of profit since this is just pure luck and we don't know if we are lucky enough to win often. Not all gambling games are luck based and so you can actually have a certain amount of control with your bets placed in sports betting for instance but you can't do much with dice games on your own than just sitting and waiting for a lucky number to appear. Trading indeed gives you  some chance to control how you want to trade but it can also drain your pocket gradually and not in an instant.

still it is full of speculation , you can not purely trading full of skills and based on real time information , there is a time where you have to predict the price based on luck , waiting the price to bouncing back while there is no guarantee it can happened.

both are high risk for me , especially in the long run. really hard to make both profitable.

Personally I believe trading is much better than gambling games like sport betting or poker simply because there is more skill involved, usually in the form of bankroll management, timing, nerves, etc etc. Gambling is also harder and more luck dependent, some games being impossible to win at long term.

Maybe you don't know but sports betting is as skilled based as trading because you have the chance to use statistical analysis to predict a game just like in trading. Secondly, it is not all gambling games that are based on luck, you can say that if slots and dice but not sports betting.

Just use limited funds or savings in gambling so that the rest of your money are secured. Or you can just invest the rest of your money for trading. For now, as you still don't have any knowledge from trading, better try to read discussions about the ways on how to trade, there are a lot of threads here in the forum and I am 100% sure that you will learn a lot from it. Although sometimes trading is also risky just like when you bet your money on gambling, at least, in trading you can save money and you will not lose it as long as you know how and when to invest your money from it.
