Looks like a scam, UFOMiners LLC  company does not exist anywhere, new website only created a a few weeks ago

The miners sound too good to true, free shipping and no history at all for this company found anywhere yet they claimed to have been involved in this industry since start of 2014

All UFOMiners equipment undergoes a 2-stage test procedure during and after the manufacturing process to minimize the chances of defects. All four UFOMiners hardware come with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

UFOMiners, having launched in 2014, develops all the key components for the hardware in-house without having to rely on third-party solutions. The company manages the design and development of all of its equipment.

The good news is that if UFOMiners is a scam, you can always order from THMiners: http://bitcoinist.net/thminers-bitcoin-litecoin-mining-rigs/

And use the same data center as UFOMiners at http://www.bitdirect.com/

Edit: Yeah dis is a mudahfucking scam.  The About Us page is a literal copy from Minerslab.  Here's a forum post from 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=883534.msg9785136#msg9785136 and here is a copy/paste from UFOMiners.com About Us page

It's been two years since UfoMiners founders decided to create their own cryptocurrency miners. During this time our group of young and ambitious enthusiasts has evolved into a company of like-minded persons, which has attracted experienced top-notch specialists in development of equipment, engineering and management.

At the beginning of 2014 UfoMiners started a project of developing equipment for mining scrypt cryptocurrencies, which we plan to finish at the second half of 2014. Besides that we are simultaneously developing the second generation of Bitcoin miners. As compared to the first generation, which had a limited run, these miners will be available to a wide range of customers.

Man, I'm having a really hard time determining if this is a legit scam.  I have emailed the company regarding their products.  I asked them what type of buying protection I have, and Sophia Bauer said, "You are buying from a registered company , which it has the products already in stock ( full ) we are not manufacturing the products after the payment , consider this email as a confirmation that you will receive your order ."

That's how this person typed the email.  I don't know anyone who types like this unless they are super foreign.

I haven't been able to find a website to confirm whether or not they are registered in Nevada.  When I google maps the address, street view shows a building with the 4 digit address, but that's it. No sign showing what is in that building.

Regarding the articles that are seen on their website and CCN, they are all the same copy/paste with or without Ruben Vos info at the bottom.  I also can't find anything about Ruben Vos.

I'm skeptical regarding paying a company like this in crypto.  Actually I know I won't ever pay in crypto, but they do offer bank transfers, which I don't know what to make of.

All the same articles:

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ufominers-launch-four-powerful-cryptocurrency-194100136.html

Whitepages shows that the number listed at the bottom of the website is a cell phone number: http://www.whitepages.com/phone/1-702-832-0543

Google street view link, hope it works correctly: https://www.google.com/maps/place/6390+W+Cheyenne+Ave,+Las+Vegas,+NV+89108/@36.2175903,-115.2335865,3a,75y,351.9h,90t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sh2pT7VIThWPcTempPUGqMQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xdbdcd228571ff294!6m1!1e1

Domain has been registered on the 16th of October and server is based out of Germany: https://whois.domaintools.com/ufominers.com

I'll update if I find more info.

Until, that is, UFOMiners starts advertising on this forum since they had no problem getting pass Cointelegraph's promised defenses to protect the community after paying the 0.4 BTC press release fee.

Upon doin' some diggin, to date I've strongly connected Cointelegraph to MyBitcoin and The Madhatter, at the same time currently having made a strong connection between coinexchange.io and coinexchange.co. At this stage, it wouldn't surprise me the least to learnt that Bruce Wagner and Co. operate some nefarious cryptocurrency-based entity again in this space. <the latter added to evoke my three-prong attack, recalling Pattaya et al.>

Mining can be a good business in the next few years and since the market is really robust it is attracting bad players who are taking advantage of people looking for the next shining thing. We should really be careful in investing money or buying anything related to mining as scammers are everywhere ready to bite us whole. It is good thing to read this forum to get us warned and educated.

It is good thing that this pseudo-company is exposed for what it really is so it can't continue on victimizing people and just giving them false hope. We all want to earn money but somehow we can also be victimized by scammers.
