Hey there!  I was mining Zcash just fine for hours and hours and then all of a sudden I started getting this:

Why would it start doing that?  Is there a fix?  Very willing to tip anyone able to help me out here.  Im off to catch a few Zs.  Be back in a bit.

Thank you in advance for any help,

Better to buy your own hardware to mine, you can't always rely on remote mining.

Had the same thing for the last 30 minutes. Switched back to ETH.

Mining zec is just a f00king nightmare at the moment, not a single good mining software to use with AMD GPUs and pools like NH are crap with there 0.01 payout. I ain't not farmer, it'll take me at least 2 days to get to 0.01, even more with these disconnects  Embarrassed

Never mind, but NiceHash ZEC mining is extremely filled with bugs right now. It is not mining constantly, not at all. I put my miner up to mine ZEC with it throughout the night but when woke up, I was not able to even find my address in their "Worker Stats" tab.

As of now, mining of zCash has become extremely annoying.

Especially since there's no way of knowing if the current exchange rate will stay at 6-8BTC/ZEC. I mean hell, mining even just 0.1ZEC would reimburse me my entire rig operation lol

Yep, just trying to get there before it drops too far from that. Smiley

I got exactly the same thing: target machine actively refused connection.
I wonder if this something to do with internet providers individual setups.
This is really annoying.

I have the same problem. I tried the EU pool and the USA pool. There is no connection at the moment.

Same error here as well.

But guys, don't switch back to ETH....

Switch to Nicehash's other miner that pays you in BTC. Still very profitable.

how to do that? I used that miner, it disconnects and says that btc address is unauthorized. What does that mean?
Do you need to register on nicehash? when i try, connection times out.
Gosh, what a mess.

ETH isn't dead ;-)

I'm waiting for Claymore's miner. No point in letting my rig mine then get those disconnects for who knows how many hours!

BTW guys, don't forget that a good i7 is as good at hashing ZEC as an RX470, my 1st gen i7 gets 18S/s.

This pool operator is a damn scammer!  He set the payout so damn high that everyone with small miners will drop out!  .01!  In 24 hours at 54 Sols/s I was only at .002 confirmed!  This means this a*#* is keeping it high he will have people quit and he gets to keep there .002 or whatsoever they have mined for himself.  He/she has not responded in threads and does not inform anyone of reason for delays and such!  I lost any profit at all because I wasted 24 hours expecting him to drop it like all the other pools.

Avoid this pool!  Not only that I think there is cheating going on with his pool.  I started mining Supranova and not even even 10 minutes and I am at 0.0001.  I think Nicehash is cheating here.. I think he drops what you earned resets it because before I went to sleep I had a higher confirmed than when I woke up this morning.  I am calling this pool operator a scammer to stay away from!

I am now only at around half an hour mining on Supranova and I have .0002 unconfirmed!  This just proves to me that Nicehash is cheating somehow with rewards.  How could I only been at .0028 with Nicehash after 24 hours mining?

It could be small block amounts found issue.. not scam..
