Bitcoin accepted in over 10.000 Swiss locations

That's outstandingly good news! Overall I did not share the excitement surrounding Bitcoin ATMs, because of the overly onerous and privacy invasive verification requirements of most machines. Apparently these Swiss vending machines chose an acceptable approach, albeit I consider cell phone identification an unneeded obstacle.

What can't be disputed is the fact that Switzerland now has the largest installment of Bitcoin vending locations in the world. The ubiquitous availability of Bitcoin for purchase will likely be a boost for bitcoin businesses in Switzerland. The Swiss people can be really happy to live in a country that embraces financial innovation.
