The definition of the word "religion" found at http://www.dictionary.com/browse/religion?s=t shows that atheism IS religion, especially #6 which says:

When atheists scream that they don't have a religion, they simply show that they are being fanatical in their religion of atheism.

When they set their science of theories up to be greater than science facts that prove the existence of God ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1662153.msg16703237#msg16703237 ), they are setting themselves up as gods by stating that they know more than God.

Atheism is totally a religion. And it is religion that is depriving people of the truths of nature and the universe and God.

You are quite wrong. There are many people in this forum who agree with the things that I say about atheism. Consider the whole "the Atheist Delusion" thread that someone else started.

Nobody knows that there even was a 65 million years ago. When you look at the basic scietific papers that suggest the age of the earth, the scientists, themselves, say that they don't know this for sure, and that the times set are simply to keep things coherent among the sciences.

Bible is record that was handed down through the ages, that the universe was created by God a little more than 6,000 years ago.

There are plenty of evidences (read -> EVIDENCES) that the earth formed from the solar disk at least 4.5 BILLION years ago, along with the other planets of our solar system. And, talking about the dinosaurs... determining the age of an object containing organic material by using the properties of radiocarbon is scientifically proven to be correct and reliable. And we know for sure that they existed since 250 million years ago and extincted 65 million years ago because of a 10km large asteroid that impacted the earth. Here we go again, there are plenty of PROOFS of such events... P R O O F S !!! Put down that shitty bible you read, and google for "Cretaceous–Paleogene boundary". Go learn something!

Otherwise, can you PROVE beyond any doubt that every scientist in the world is WRONG just because of some shit written in a stupid book called bible?!

I never heard or read a scientist admitting guesswork about scientific proven facts... but we read lots of bullshits written by silly people like you, doing somersaults to hopelessly contradict them without any kind of proof.

Think about the evidence of a very old universe. When you do, you will be able to come up with all kinds of possibilities that could easily show that these evidences are simply dreams. But if you can't, Google things like "age of the Earth" and look at all the points that Bible people use to show that the old-earth-evidences are foolishness.

Do your own research, but when you get to the basic archaeological, scientific papers, you will find that in many of the papers that suggest old-universe, the scientists will claim that they don't know it for a fact. Sometimes they even claim that their ideas are foolish, right in the papers. Other times, they write new papers debunking their former papers.

Not all scientists do this, of course. But some of the most prominent ones do.

How have I made my own definition of religion? If you believe in and follow collecting stamps dedicatedly, you have a religion. If you believe in and follow dedicatedly your idea of not making any waves in life whatsoever, then that is your religion for you. It's dictionary, not me.

Do you believe that the Big Bang happened? Certainly you don't understand it, do you? Have you believed the preacher scientists that say that BB is true, when all it is, is a theory? Well yeah, see science tries to find the answer every day, it doesn't refrain from saying "We were wrong, this new theory is more possible", unlike church that doesn't change their words since.

You fail to state the most important part... the reason WHY I said collecting stamps is a religion. And you also failed to state what I said that it may not be a religion, but simply a part of your religion.

What, again, was the reason why I stated it? It wasn't because I have some crazy ideas about what religion is. IT WAS BECAUSE THE DICTIONARY DEFINITION SAID IT...

This is the third time I think I have read and answered a topic about atheism.  I still stand on my belief that we should respect each other.  As long as we know how to respect each other no matter what we believe in.  I believe that God exist and we are here because of Him.
