基于区块链技术的替代数字货币Zcash正式发布，开发者表示，如果说比特币是HTTP，那么Zcash就是HTTPS，Zcash利用加密隐藏用户的身份，它自称是第一种真正匿名的数字货币。Zcash的源代码发布在Github上，采用MIT许可证，目前客户端只支持Linux，运行Zcash的计算机需要4GB内存和数GB的可用空间，Zcash的整合交易历史也就是区块链将会下载到计算机中。

ZCash利用了名叫零知识证明的技术验证交易的真实性，知名密码学专家Matthew Green参与了其设计。
