4.2 crashes on launch for me - 480 nitros with custom bios. 4.1 is doing good numbers although is a little unstable (that could be the mining pool though, suprnova.cc)

Nah 4.1 runs for me about 6 hours tops then a thread stuck in driver and bsod. But the performance is almost double that of nicehash.  Some babysitting will due the trick.  What scares me most is the corrupted drives I'm seeing as a result of this crash. Three pcs now. One had to have drivers reinstalled. Don't have any idea how it could corrupt drivers that should be read only but it's always something new.  I've also found that if you have a weak psu this algo will help point that out to you;)

That's scary...are they hds or ssds? No issues with ssds for me and no blue screens! My power consumption for a 6 rx480 nitro rig is about 650 which is ridiculously low.

That's odd because I'm seeing the opposite. Maybe due to not throttling back power limit. Most my 480 bounce from 70-100+ watt according to gpu z. And it's this fluctuation that I think is giving the psu a hard time. I had a pc that would kernel fault due to low power to the cpu. I notice the gpu drop to 0 a lot on this miner I think there may be some room for improvement.  the hdd are a mix of both ssd and hds   once it bsod it take about 10 min to reboot next time. Like it has to rebuild files then I get a message from Win 10 that I need to scan and repair drive c. May have to stop mining with this until the bugs are worked out. At least on the important puters.  Smiley

What bugs the crap outta me is eth mined great. Even does with weak psu. So I feel is just some more bugs to be worked out   I hate to start throwing money at psu and other things if it's faulty software

I see in other thread some are dual mining eth and zec. I understand that could be so due to nature of usage of card that's prolly why some miners do better with two instances running. Hmm looks like I need to test this more🤓
