Transition would be quick & seamless.[/color]
so all bitcoin users' money would go up in smoke? that wipes out almost every existing crypto user. that also wipes out any possibility of the people who are vaguely interested in ever getting involved for fear of the same thing happening.
and if it looked like bitcoin was about to fail and there was a chance you could get out in time there wouldn't be a seamless transition. there's probably 1000th of the total supply of ltc for sale at any time and there'd be a point where no ltc seller would accept crappy old btc.
it would be over for a long time.
It wipes out no other user except BTC, the other marketcaps would be intact and probably increase,
there were many attempts at crypto before BTC that failed utterly, did not stop the current ecosystem from being formed.
This pitiful if BTC fails, we all fail is ridiculous and ignorant, Many Brands die throughout history and the evolution continues.
The Model T Car failed and was replaced by other newer car designs, thinking this will not happen to BTC shows a naively that borders on insanity.
It is this almost religious faith in an outdated crypto called BTC, that I find the most disconcerting.
BTC is old and slow and too expensive to run and already hitting transactions limits.
Bitantic days are numbered, only the foolish can't see that.
In other words, one day it will be said ,
BTC is Dead , Long Live the New Crypto that replaced it,
And Life goes on,
