Wow, Kumala has 132,399MH at coinotron pointed at TRC. That must be an ASIC or two even. Enormous power! I guess word getting out that BTC is going to take TRC has made him a believer!

No, if it were an attack then we wouldn't see it. Not to mention that unless I'm wrong Kumala runs Vircurex, the exchange. He's probably looking at the volume and thinking "Shit! need to get me some of that TRC, PRONTO!" especially since BTC-E has announced they will support TRC.
