What will happen if we use a one currency only?

This is a good thing because there is no gap between the countries, equitable economics will become faster and everyone will be easy to Transact in the absence of domination to a specific currency.

This will never happen simply because is an utopia. It was an idea 70 years ago of the famous economist Keynes but rich national economies will never let it happen. The loss for them will be very big and nobody wants to pay the others debts.

It is really hard to predict to what will happen to the situation that you given. For me that situation gives us a problem in our economy of different countries and for me it will not give us a unity, it will gives us a very messy life.

It is impossible to have one currency for all countries. The winner will be the one who controls the currency. Very often to heat up the economy using monetary emission. How can this be achieved if other countries are not profitable.

Yeah the winner will be the corrupt officials that eyeing for the money. It will be a confusion to everyone in the world.

A world currency would enable a small group of wealthy elites to grab even more wealth into their hands, so the wealthy will become wealthier, the poor even poorer. I don't really understand people who are claiming here that the economy is going to improve. For some countries it may certainly hold true, but for the rest of the world it might not be so. Basically, such a currency would be an economic weapon of mass destruction

I think we are already using bitcoin as one currency thorough out the world, I am sure that it will bring too much positive effects on the economy of the countries.  as currently very little number of people are using bitcoin but the majority of people do not know about bitcoin, they still need proper introduction and knowledge about bitcoin, so that they can also start earning from bitcoin.

I think it's bad because the economic circumstances of each country are different and difficult to arrange if using only one currency CMIIW

It seems impossible to realize such a thing. Because the policy of each country is different, its needs are also different among fiat. If something like that happens, the economy of each country will be destroyed. You can imagine each state price of a material 1 with another different while the same nominal value, then there will be losses and resulted in the country looking for alternatives to create their own value of a goods / produce a good. So long over time the value of the currency is abandoned. If making all nations seems impossible because there are significant price differences between countries. As well as the above illustrations.

I think the world will be better if there is only one currency left. But it will not gonna happen so we do not need to think about it too much and waste our precious time. The world will still have more 1 currency

I really agree if there is only one currency in the world or global currency, it will make the prosperity more evenly than what is now happening. But indeed every state government has its own interests for his country, including to control the value of the currency

At the moment, a large percentage of the use of Bitcoin is in trading.  If you go down to one currency then you lose that group.  That only makes a little sense because using one currency would eliminate options, but the point is that Bitcoin gains many people to it because of the very existence of multiple currencies and trading.

It is a bit of a paradox, but it is kinda like saying that sales for X brand refrigerator would sky rocket if it was the only brand out there.  One currency has a long time to get here and by the time it does, there are likely going to be other derivatives of Bitcoin that serve that purpose better. Of course the price will vary.  For example an apple in the US would cost just $.50 but if it will be shipped in other country let say in Asia it would already cost $1.  But it would be nice I think.  There is no need for cash exchangers and it means no transaction fees either.  I actually love the idea of having one currency in the entire world.

It is really impossible for the world to have one legal type of currency because every country have set their own currency because there are states that are really powerful to set a high standard of currency and of course there is always a large competency that is known as global competency. If that would happen, the world will be set into chaos because no other state would just accept that all the countries are just on the same level.

That's an interesting question, but I think it might not end up being all that different. It might help the economies of 3rd world countries, but I have a feeling things would normalize back to the way they are now. The value of the currency would probably just change from region to region. In the US, $2 may buy you a coffee, and in some 3rd world country it may buy you a whole meal.

In my own point of view there will be no problem if all nation use only a one currency or one global currency because if each nation has it's own money maker or central banks it would still be the same, but if all money is from a one country there could be a problem because there will be a big corruption by it's government.

In my own point of view there will be no problem if all nation use only a one currency or one global currency because if each nation has it's own money maker or central banks it would still be the same, but if all money is from a one country there could be a problem because there will be a big corruption by it's government.

yes i am also expecting that there will be no problem and hope that it will more better the whole world to use a single currency, people will never feel the need to convert their currency to some one else just for the purpose of using it.

Yes they could be affected wether negatively or postively. For postive reason, price of that currency would be more valuable for future which can be used as investment. For negative thing, it could cause people not to spend money since they are thinking that they'll be deficit if they do that.

If we will use cryptocurrency as one currency only then it will end up rising very high because of the demand of all the people around the world and there is no organization or any type of government that will take control of cryptocurrency so it is a good option but the downside is the limited supply while if we will use fiat currency as one currency only then there will be no such thing like pump and it is like the traditional money that we have right now.
