Hello,

Sorry if this sounds like an impertinent question from a newbie so please feel free to ignore it. But I would be curious to gauge what is the rough average number of BTC people have at the moment. It seems a pretty relevant question bearing in mind the increasing value and whether there is going to be a temptation for people with higher amounts to 'cash out' at a certain dollar value in the future.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Judging by the projections, having around 10 could still give you a lot of buying power in the years to come. For example, if car dealerships started to accept them then you might find yourself being able to go into a showroom in 2015 and put down a few BTC for a brand new vehicle  Smiley

...and bearing in mind it hit $200 today, I wonder if you might be able to do it sooner than 2015   Roll Eyes
