Netteller is asking for "bitpay invoice url", they will cancel the claim if not received within 48 hours. Emailed bitpay customer care does anyone have any advise on how to get this number?

Good news is it sounds like if that happens they will refund the $.

I don't believe there is a way for a Bitcoin address to "deny" a received transaction,
so this is probably a Netteller function.

Hopefully someone on the forum is more familiar with Netteller.
There may be nothing you can do but wait the 3 days for them to process a refund.

Tha is what I think so, since in bitcoin, once yu sent it there is no way to cancelled it or deny on the receiving end. But since it is Netteler on the receiving end, I am not familar also. Hope all is fine.

Hello, I have been using bitcoin for a short time mainly for online gambling sites and money transfers between other bitcoin users.

Recently, a friend sent roughly $1000 worth of bitcoin to Netteller and despite the transaction being confirmed on the senders side, the transaction shows up as "denied" on nettellers end.

Netteller was contacted and we were told it would be refunded within 3 business days. Based on what I know about bitcoin (which isn't much) it seemed like it is not that easy and may take some work on nettellers end. I have no clue really but I felt like they were just blowing us off instead of giving facts.

Please advise. And thanks for the forum. I just found this and look forward to browsing and contributing.

I`ve never used Neteller and i don`t trust them.

Let`s hope that they will refund the money.

If you use bitcoin for gambling purposes and the Neteller guys know about that there might be some

problems with your account. It`s like Coinbase blocking wallet accounts used for gambling.

We have the blockexplorer to check if the transactions pulls through, but if the transaction confirmed it and on your neteller dashboard it is pending, then we can tell, that it is neteller's fault and not on the transactions itself,
I have not use Netteller but judging from your post we have to be careful with Netteller service.

Netteller seems just like PayPal - freezing people's account once they smell something that appears fishy Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is way much better.
