Im curious about this,does it matter ? will using pci-e 3.0 card on pci-e 2.0 slot decrase hashrate ?

but zcash is bit different,i see many posts about it at web,a guy was living low hashrate problem with risers.

3 x rx470's all on same mobo. one on 1x to 16x non powered ribbon riser, one in x16 pcie 2.0 port and one in x16 pcie 3.0 port. All run at the same speed. no fires yet! Tongue

Haven't seen any difference between cards on risers (1x) and cards in slot (16x).  Claymore's miner only uses ~1GB of VRAM though so there might be a bottleneck down the line when software is further optimized?!?!
