Heck buy AMD stock for zacate, ontario, llano, etc. Poor guys can't fab enough of the first two, and the later is going to completely change one's view of AMD and mobile yet again... no more 2.5hr batteries in AMD notebooks. (thank pete).

Anyone know if someone's tried to mine on a c50, or e350? It should via the DX11 GPU put perhaps an i7 to shame... think of that.. mining on a 9w c-50 and pulling more MHashes/s then a mighty i7.. Smiley

I liked AMD way before Bitcoin started...your talking GPU?  I used to like nVidia until Bitcoin, cause only nVidia works right with Linux.  Now that I'm mining I had to give up grsec for those ATI cards, and how much money I spend on those ATI cards...

I've only had amd cpus for something like 8 years. I've have nvidia gpus for ever and that will change Thursday when my newegg box gets here. Got a good deal on a 6970 (sold out now).

AMD killed it with zacate and I think it will happen again with llano. The new llano laptops with dual gpu's should put out close to HD 5770 or near 200 M/hash with way less power consumption. I'd love to see a review with mining included.

As would I... In fact, you figure since Dailytech 'scooped' the rest of the mainstream tech press with their stories on BTC (however laughable Jason Mick is) that their 'well respected cousin 'Anandtech' would write a review and bench GPUs on BTC Mining. Who knows, perhaps someone is working on it as we speak.

But yeah, Llano hits the GPU limited market right where it needs it, in the mobile sector. Just think, had they been able to get decent yields at 45nm... we'd have been using them for near a year already. Although, they would've resembled the first phenoms... Far to dense for the then current SOI  fabrication. Even iNtel waited till 45nm to do a monolithic Quad.

I'm somewhat hopeful that Anandtech will do a review on mining, I'm actually shocked they haven't done it already.

It woulda been nice to have llano on 45nm because then bulldozer would already be here....lol. Llano was always a precursor to bulldozer and you can tell that by the fact that the next iteration of Llano will be Trinity. I really think they should do a stopgap and just shrink llano to 28nm and add 50% to the GPU hehehe.

I would love to see them do this and add sideport Gddr5 memory. Can you say 50w Quad core cpu with HD6850 graphics?! Cheesy

I'm currently mining on my zacate e-350 laptop (hp dm1z). It gets around 11.2 Mhash/s .
I also recently picked up a C-50 laptop and it gets around 6.2 Mhash/s. The C-50 seems to be the most power efficient way to mine out there with a TDP of 9W.
I updated the wiki with this info.
Let me know if you've got any other questions.
