best and worst bitcoin exchanges around india

I am new to this forum and thread. Hello everyone there !

Got a basic question - how do you compare rates provided on localbitcoins.com v/s Zebpay / Unocoin etc. There seems to be a delta of INR1000+ most of the time. Has anyone evaluated

These sites zebpay n unocoin have explained the price difference reason on their respective sites. Check those sites for further explanation. Believing in their explanation is entirely upto so. The difference between preev rate and zebpay could sometimes go upto 15k or more.

(1) how localbitcoins.com is different than other exchanges or platforms in India

localbitcoins.com is a btc exchange where is zebpay is not yet. coinsecure is a btc exchange.

(2) any advise on which of the Indian platform is good to begin with

coinsecure rates and withdrawals are much better, however getting KYC of your account will take ages, there are loaded with pending kyc. localbitcoin is also good starting point provided that you much know how exchanges work and understanding of terms like escrow. Google it.
zebpay has very fast KYC completion (withing few hours), however buying and selling rates are ridiculous. Their customer support is really cooperative n pr0mpt.

Unocoin     -  Installs - 10,000 - 50,000
Zebpay      -  Installs -100,000 - 500,000

Is this an indication of how the platforms/ exchanges stand as of now. Zebpay comes out to be way more popular or atleast seems so !!

When you say Zebpay is not an exchange yet, I am not very clear, could you pls elaborate a bit more on this.

AFAIK zebpay started as app oriented bitcoin vendor company. Whereas coinsecure has been around for long time and it is web-based exchange.

As per my understanding zebpay is bitcoin vendor where a person can buy fromZebpay or sell your bitcoin TO zebpay.  Whereas exchanges like coinsecure or localbitcoin or btxindia are where various users buy and sell bitcoins to each other. Exchange acts as mediator. Rates in exchanges are decided by the users and not by exchange. Thus prices you see on exchange are comparatively lower or higher. You could decided whether you want to buy bitcoins at certain rate (assuming some is selling at that price) or sell your bitcoin at certain price . 
At zebpay, bitcoin rates are decided by zebpay. You have to buy it at that rate only.
On this forum you'll find official Representatives from zebpay, unocoin, coinsecure. Any query related to their company will be answered accordingly.

Once you are familiar with bitcoin purchase process, It would be better go for bitcoin exchange like coinsecure, localbitcoin or btxindia. Soon you will find that bitcoin buying rates at coinsecure, localbitcoin, btxindia are much more comparative and realistic than those offered by zebpay or unocoin.
Thus you could start with unocoin or zebpay, after that better go for coinsecure. You will find coinsecure is much better for purchase and selling of bitcoin than zebpay or unocoin.

Last but not least, NEVER store/keep your bitcoins in bitcoin exchange wallet and third party vendor wallet AKA online wallet. Always store your bitcoins on your machine, laptop using appropriate wallet. That is once you purchase bitcoin  from coinsecure or zebpay or unocoin, immediately move your bitcoins to your personal bitcoin wallet whose private key will be with you.

I am using unocoin from last 4 months their service is very good but they take too much fees (e.g. if I send 0.001btc they took 0.0002btc as fees ) ,I just checked coinsecure their was big different in buy and sell price of bitcoin (on coinsecure buy:-62700 and sell:- 622216 and other side on
Unocoin buy price :- 68383 and sell 61203)
It was different of 4k rs .
I think it was better to go with coinsecure .

i would always suggest indian to use zebpay or coinsecure for selling bitcoins. they are not scam at all.
they have their app and ur sold bitcoins will directly go to the bank .

you are crying over .0002 btc =16 rs approx?current transaction rate is .0004 btc .so it is good they are still using only half a rate. coinsecure are offering better buy and sell rate so prefer to use it only.

Its not about 16Rs if i send 0.001 BTC ten time 0.001x10 =770Rs so then i lost almost 150 Rs on every ten transaction that is 0.0002x10=150Rs,again if we calculate it with 100, 0.001*100=7730 and here i lost almost lost 0.0002x100=1546 so now 1546 is big amount for me what do you think?
and i cant send all money once because i am sending btc in faucet thats why i have to send small amount and 1546Rs is really big amount for me.
So what i am doing now is i add fund in unocoin and send it to xapo( no fees) then transfer to faucet

I have used zebpay and unocoin both for many months now and frankly I felt Zebpay is way better than unocoin.
The only negative point of zebpay is that it has no website platform for transactions and trading. Only mobile application.

Very rightly said that zebpay only uses mobile app and it does not seem that they will be creating website in coming time . Though currently things are on halt considering govt may ban bitcoin in India so will have to wait and watch out for it.

I would prefer coinsecure as they have the lowest fees and the fastest to reach your amount in your bank account as it will be credited within an hour and i am really enjoying that service and i am sure they are the best in the Indian market with a fast service like that.

Yeah there fee is indeed high, like I said since I have been using them for some time I just want to stick with them for buying BTC, the KYC process for some exchanges is really bothersome.

I use two different bank accounts for buying and selling BTC. The selling bank account is linked with Zebpay, do not want to mix things up.

I have been using zebpay since long and really got fed up with their customer supports and delay in transactions. They are least bother about what a customer goes through in pending or stuck funds situations. they hardly reply and same goes with unocoin.

Now I switched to Bitxoxo exchange and so far I have no complains and faced any issue. Best thing is they always give prompt replies and solve query max in a day. I recommend bitxoxo for great customer support and services with 0% fee and gift cards they provide.

Like this bitcoin is a best and heard .other Zebpay has zero is not the case as I concerned.why people keep to saying zebpay has zero.
