Electrum 2.7.11 doesn't load

I just installed Electrum 2.7.11 in my new PC (windows a f operating system but good for gaming) and I restored via my seed of electrum earlier version. Everything good so far, restored with addresses and everything just like I had in my Linux station. Now the problem is after I closed it and pinned it to taskbar, anytime I try to open it now it get stuck and doesn't do nothing.

It shows in the processes as running but nothing is showing on the screen now. I tried restarting my Pc and the same problem still persist.

What could possible be wrong (in a windows OS, see the irony) ?

When this happened in the past we would tell people to delete the files "blockchain_header" and "config" from the electrum data directory. The electrum data directory is one level up from the wallet directory which is located at:

So try the above and if it works please do post here so we know this still works!

You are right. That did the trick, now it opens and closes as much as I like. However I am not locking this thread yet as I am about to install Windows 10 October 2016 latest build and will lock this if I don't encounter any problems there, thanks for your help.

I think next time too as I just installed Windows 10 pro latest build yesterday late at night and first thing I tried electrum 2.7.11 . Restored through my seed and everything running smoothly so far, I am locking the thread and if any problems arises I will re open it and let you know. Thanks for your help.
