Online gambling with bitcoin is growing in popularity in the United States. Sports bettors and poker players are saving 5% to 7% every time they use bitcoin to make a deposit at 5Dimes, Americas Cardroom, Bovada, BetOnline and more. This is a major headache for many US based web wallets because U.S. regulations do not permit financial transactions to off-shore gambling sites. As a result, they are actively shutting down accounts of anyone who sends or receives payments from accounts that are linked to online gambling. As a result we are going to put together a guide to the best gambling friendly BTC wallets.

Whatever happened to Bitcoin Core, Armory, Electrum, Multibit?

Also, most wallets that give you full control over your bitcoins (as in addresses) generally doesn't give a damn what you do with your bitcoins.

I don't even consider Coinbase or Circle as a wallet as they don't even give you access to your private keys. If you are going to use one then I suggest btc.com (It's HD and multi signature too) and If you are going to use one of phone then Mycelium should be your first choice.

Circle.com are the first bitcoin wallet to be integrated with iMessage in iOS 10. This means that you can now send bitcoin from iPhone to iPhone the same way that you send text messages.

This.

Any regular desktop wallet should be perfect for your needs. Yes, you need to make sure you don't lose your keys and don't get hacked, but you will always have full control of your coins.

To quote the above remember that when you DON'T control your private keys your bitcoins are someone else's. So do your own research and always remember to store your bitcoins safely by guarding your keys.

Oh, by the way, when you deposit your coins on exchanges, casinos etc. they are not yours anymore in the sense that if they get robbed, hacked... you lose everything.

I guess OP is missing in title to ask as best "web wallet" provider for online gambling.

Obviously stand alone wallets are as per bitcoin ecosystem's core concept : freedom. We can use them anywhere.

Yes, unfortunately they are providing wallet services with limited features, especially not allowing us to own our bitcoins.

Xapo might be another choice, I have been using it for gambling site's deposit/withdrawal without any specific problems just due to gambling activities. But when we are crossing $3000 over all transaction history, we need to submit documents to enjoy higher limits.

Blocktrail.com  (now owned by Bitmain) is the perfect choice for gambling related wallets.
It is a decentralized wallet, you have control over your Bitcoins (the users can create and store their own private keys).
I use it (their API) for my websites (bitcoin gambling related) and it works perfectly.

i think its hard to selecting the best bitcoin wallet for online gambling as all bitcoin wallet have the same function which is for sending and receiving bitcoin itself and i think i would only choose for mycelium and multibit wallet. i don't know why i choose that two wallet, maybe i just like the software itself and not because of other thing.

but if for web bitcoin wallet service, maybe i will choose xapo and blockchain because xapo is free to send bitcoin without fee and blockchain is a good recommended web bitcoin wallet service.

blockchain is a good recommended web bitcoin wallet service.
The old blockchain wallet the legacy version was good but the new one not so good from my experience one time I was about to make a deposit to a casino then blockchain recommended me to put like 0.006 worth of fees for a single transaction that didnt even reached 1kb.

For on-chain game like sportsbetting on directbet, I prefer to use Xapo because there is no fees but for other common gambling where I need to make deposit then I usually use multibit.

yes and i myself using xapo that is really helpful, having no problem at all, i think still i not reach to that limit therefore i never fell to submit my document for unlimited use of xapo account.

this is the first time i am seeing someone who is categorizing bitcoin wallets based on gambling!!!

anyways, there is never "a best" bitcoin wallet. bitcoin wallets are either good or bad. a web wallet is generally bad and when it becomes centralized and you give up control over bitcoin private keys like coinbase it gets worse.

so your options are any wallet that is not a centralized web wallet. simple as that. of course that is excluding paper wallet because paper wallet is only for keeping coins for a long time not for using regularly.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

You have the point with it because most of them are just the same and one aim. To provide good wallet services to all of us. And for me, there are some primary bitcoin wallets came to my mind if we are talking about gambling. Coinbase is not my list either many are disappointed because of it, so my list are blockchain, xapo and moneypot.

I am using blockchain.info since I came to know Bitcoin and still for gambling activities I am using it. As you mentioned already it is user friendly and also is much more secure than those exchanges wallets. I have my main funds in desktop Bitcoin Core wallet which I don't want to expose for gambling bets. Blockchain.info is sufficient for every type of gambling in my opinion.

Blockchain for web wallet and for desktop wallet i use electrum since you can adjust the fee right now.. but the less the minimum you are paying for the fee it can process your bitcoin not in priority .. that will takes a long time before you can receive it..
So always use high fee or maximum fee for your transaction.. and there is no restriction if you use electrum

Blockchain.info is best online Bitcoin wallet for online gambling without any doubt. I really don't feel need of even windows wallet to have since it is working well and its provider is legit so no worries. That chain of Bitcoin's wallet with good Gigabytes is too much for me to download all.

I vote in  blockchain.info like you mention its a friendly online wallet they have restriction for gambling.. so i think this is the best to ues than the other wallet you mention since the other wallet you mention like breadwallet or airbitz honestly this is just my first time to hear those wallet so i prefet o use blockchain it is more safety..
