-5 gigahash for $249, 25 gigahash for $1299, 50 gigahash for $2499

Didn't Avalon jack their prices to the moon on batch #3 as well?  If people will pay it, then it is a good price.  If not, then it should correct itself.

Two things, one good one not so good.

The price change means the early adopters have come out ahead.
So that's good (assuming they eventually ship)

The bad thing is the listed hash rates. These are lower than the previously listed speeds. That means the power/speed problems they have been having are serious. They are planning to scale back the speeds to compensate for the power issue.

They have previously said that you will get the speed you paid for. I wonder if that means people will get jalapeños to make up for the under hashing of the original SC units?

I sure hope they don't just throw in Jalapenos to make up the difference in hash cause for people who made multiple orders for a couple Singles each that would just suck.  I would hate to end up having 16 Singles and 32 Jalapenos!  What a mess that would be...but at this point i just want my damn products!!
