First things first, it is really hard to buy some bitcoins because i dont have enough bitcoin to do this. Then if i have to, i should work hard to have more enough bitcoin in my wallet.

But in other ways, it is not that difficult to buy bitcoins, just hand someone cash, they send you bitcoin, then done! Also buying bitcoins are easy nowadays, just go to circle, coinbase and localbitcoins.

Nope it is really difficult to buy bitcoins. Unlike fiat currency where you can have access almost anywhere. Im living in a rural area so it is hard to access bitcoin or to buy one that is why I am into signature campaigns to earn satoshis. Bitcoin is like gold it is not available everywhere but only in some selected areas, much more is bitcoin since you cannot even find it on department stores or malls. The problem is accessibility to purchase bitcoins.

Buying BTC is definitely a pain in the ass.
In my opinion, its one of the last things that is keeping a lot of new users from adopting the system.

Unless you already have coins or an established relationship with a seller, you are forced to jump through a lot of hoops to convert fiat to Bitcoin, and its even worse to convert BTC to fiat....

New users won't come at these prices. It's becoming too expensive to buy and very difficult to find sellers who don't ask super high prices. This is it.
There are very few BTC left and many were lost for one reason or another. I'm only waiting for the big jump, it's only a matter of time.

I think the reason they ask for ID / Photograph is because there's a risk that someone may chargeback.

Indeed with PayPal its very hard to do it and the fact is that the exchanger is in a difficult position against the ones who buys.

don't buy bitcoin with paypal because the rate is not predictable and its not recommended. actually there is many shop that we can buy bitcoin in out there but the best thing that we can do to buy is buy bitcoin with our friend which want to sell their bitcoin for fiat. i think if we could find again in localbitcoin, there is a suggestion that giving by localbitcoin to us search near seller around us so we can meet directly with the seller and make a deal with the seller.

i've found triv.co.id which can help us to make deposit if we have balance with perfect money, okpay but i don't know how much of the fee.

Yes the security measurements are really troubling us. That is the reason I never prefer to buy bitcoin from exchanges. I am always looking to buy bitcoin from my office colleagues and from forum members here. This type of peer to peer exchanges solve many complications in buying bitcoins.

I believe you must be doing as per bitcoin's core concept of decentralisation. We should not depend on any centralized services for any purpose for bitcoin related. We must always try to resolve all of our requirements within ourselves. Buying and selling within ourselves must be a great solution as per what decentralisation of bitcoin is teaching us.

decentralisation doesn't mean you will resolve anything by yourself and will do anything by yourself. decentralisation in bitcoin is just in term of its system which is using blockchain and decentralized. if every users are forced to resolve their own problem themselves then they will more likely to see any more simple digital currency option so does with buying and selling. sometimes a centralised companies also helping

I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on.

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.    Huh
It is really hard to bought bitcoin in that website why? because if you are using card or holding card on localbitcoin they are going to ask so something to prove your identity to avoid frauds and scam. Try to exchange websites that accept cards without asking any documents.

Every country has got different trading and exchange websites to give easy access to the users. During the early days lot exchange websites and other trading websites found to be scam. Little by little improved features made bitcoin buying and selling successful without getting trapped.

It really sucks that Circle had stopped accepting CC's for Bitcoin..
Was litteraly the best way to buy bitcoin's for a low fee.

The only thing now is to use Localbitcoins...Talking about the cheapest way.

Actually buy bitcoin is simple.
Use centralized exchange service if can't protect yourself by scammer, but the lack is the fees, your identity and sometimes they will suddenly collapse or turn into scam (ect situation).
Use p2p exchange if you can protect yourself, you in the right ways as bitcoin concept in the first place.

The best buy bitcoin is exactly p2p, since bitcoin designed as p2p, decentralized and pseudonym which there's no need 3rd party involved, instead your security is your responsibility.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

There are a lot more ways to onboard and offboard BTC than there were a few years ago.  So, the means for accomplishing both continues to expand with Bitcoin ATMs becoming more and more prevalent and an increase of bitcoin exchanges from about less than 10 in 2013 to more than 100 in 2016.

These methods are continuing to expand including various kinds of in-person transactions that require less identification, usually, especially if you are doing that in cash.

I know that OP is concerned about showing identification etcetera, but if you are limiting yourself to online methods, then you are going to have some of these kinds of issues and if you are wanting to conduct bitcoin purchases with something other than cash, then that is merely a cost of doing business (providing sufficient identification in order to attempt to protect the seller from fraud or other shenanigans).

I agree with those who lament the disappearance of Circle as a means to buy and sell bitcoins, and it had seemed that they were expanding to customers all around the world (besides starting out in the USA), but then all of a sudden, without warning, discontinued their bitcoin buying and selling services.

Hopefully, at some point, another similar service will be offered, but if not, we still are in a decent place for continued onboarding and off boarding BTC, and those means and mechanisms seem to be increasing.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

i think its not so hard to buy bitcoin because for now, we know that bitcoin is available in many store online unless in offline store, and you can buy bitcoin from your friends which have bitcoin too.

maybe the word "hard" its mean about the bitcoin price its really expensive if we want to buy 1 bitcoin, but if we only have small amount of the money, then we can buy for small amount of bitcoin too. its depend on how much we want to spend the money.

there may be some exchanges that require verification id and so on, but there are some exchange sites that do not require it, but if you do not find it, you can buy a bitcoin in third-party individuals, without identity

I think it's because we still doubt that buying bitcoin can profit. When the price of the bitcoin $100, people considered expensive, but when it costs $400 they regret for why not buying when the price $100, the main the problem I think because they don't like with bitcoin, so any price of bitcoin feels expensive.
