I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on. 

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.   

Yes,some of members for selling or buying their bitcoins,they request KYC to find the identity of customer.They might have been asked by respective governments to follow such strict measures to avoid money laundering and illegal activities.

The most easiest way to buy bitcoin now is purchasing it through black market from the local person in your area. I do sell mine face to face and I take it to be the most save and easy transactions. Localbitcoin will like to do that because of bitcoin fall into the hand of evil men or terrorists.

The recent activities by the goverment to prevent the money laundering and illegal activities make the more exchange are trying to implement KYC and AML verification. but i think there is not problem if the users haven't bad intention.

With the very expensive price of bitcoin nowadays, it's so hard to buy bitcoin because you could not expect to get profit anymore despite of the huge price, and you can't expect any increase in the marketplace. You can only resource from micro jobs in services section from forum discussions like signature campaigns that earns good amount of btc, and you can use it to hold for a long term. The price will eventually increase while you hold it for several days or months, but needs a lot of patience waiting for the profit. yes it is now getting out of the hand of average people but to me i think if the trade in satoshi still they can get good profit. because it is still depending on the amount you are going to invest, if you will invest good amount your income will be good.

If you use USD and want Yen you don't necessarily have to exchange them. You can start working for Yen. It's the same with bitcoins. You don't have to buy them you can just start services to earn them. I like it better because then you don't have to give out your ID to some online company!

I got your point. Bitcoin is usually based on the price of dollars so for other country or developing country like japan or others it may hard for them to buy bitcoin on their currency because the value on it to dollars is way to small or not equal in terms of price on bitcoin. So risking a lot of money may be a hard thing for some. So I recommend to have a source of income though signature campaign where you can earn bitcoin without using your own money. For me its better to work hard while earning to learn more.

I remember 2 years ago or so it was hard to get Bitcoins if you didnt want to provide your ID's and link your banks with the exchanges. But nowadays Here in Georgia at least there are special ATM's every 400-500 meters that let you buy bitcoins with Cash and it doesnt require any kind if ID or Bank confirmation. Pretty Neat I would say.

That's why you use an exchange instead of looking for a guy that will give you "discounts" on bitcoin. There's no reason for him to give you discounts at all since he can sell his bitcoins on current price using exchanges. It will take lesser effort as well. People always look for discounts and most of them gets scammed.

You should look for a reputable member here if you're not able to use exchanges in your country. A lot of them are here and even though they require that you send money first, it doesn't matter since they are not going to ruin their trust just for a small amount of money. They will earn much more in the long run if they continue being a trusted seller of bitcoins.
