why is it so hard to buy bitcoin

I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on. 

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.   

This can be a security policy and management trader. Many criminals are taking advantage of bitcoin as a legitimate way to convert money.

It is not that hard you can buy easily some bitcoins when you have your wallet by blockchain. You can even buy some ETH and btc together there so you will not have a problem.

If you have a locally stored wallet this will make a problem for you buying bitcoins.

This is sad truth about some countries that does not recognize, allow or accept cryptocurrencies as payment and that would be a hard struggle for the enthusiasts in that specific country. If your country has too much restrictions on Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general I think the best way you can do is to only participate in any bounties or signature campaigns. Don't buy coins just work for it. But when you are going to have a cashout you still need to undergo AML/KYC on your local exchange for you to be able to send money on remittances or banks near you. Here in my country buying and selling Bitcoins is as easy as taking orders on restaurants. Our local exchange is equiped with features like some billers and online merchants that accept our local currency and Bitcoins as payments. In terms of buying Bitcoins, remittances has played important role in this transactions here in my country most especially in rural areas where banks and atm's are not accessible. I am in a third world country though the government regulated local exchanges and warned us of possible scams and fraud but still we don't have any problems in buying and selling Bitcoins.

The price is the reason that buying bitcoin is so hard. Otherwise I don’t that there will be any other reason apart from the price. If somebody thinks that there are many more reasons too due to which buying bitcoin became hard, he may be right but to some extent. Because all the people in the world will want to invest in bitcoin because of the high return on investment and also easily usable worldwide.

Correct, since the value is rising now, most of the ordinary bitcoin users facing difficulties to buy it directly. So, like me since its expensive so far I still bought it in the value where I can afford to buy it. Due to in demand of bitcoin in crypto currency industry, price of this coin are continuing increase. So that some people are not afford to buy and invest to this crypto currency.

Yes, you are right. It is not easy to buy bitcoin especially for us who cannot really afford the price of bitcoin now. We have no choice but to accept the fact that we will have to wait for the time that the bitcoin price will become affordable for us so we will no longer worry about it. Anyways we can still earn so probably we will just focus on earning bitcoin and not about buying bitcoins it is still so expensive for us to buy.
