Aw, it's such a drag but you can't blame them because of the price hike and money is at stake here, even I if I sell my bitcoins I will require the buyer to verify his or her identity to avoid being scammed but on the contrary the buyer might discourage to buy because his ID is at stake too. I suggest you to buy on some exchange instead

Even if you are not using exchange to buy Bitcoin , just always use escrow to prevent scam. You can easily find seller in this forum if you just know how to search or know where to find the thread.

There are so many legit bitcoin exchanges! When I was in Taiwan I used Maicoin. It connected right to the local banking system. Could to a transfer to it and get coins in mins!

I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on. 

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.   

maybe it happens only in your country, because in my own country very easy to buy bitcoin. verifying the account is also very easy to do

That's so restrictive. Did you try to use online wallet? Some online wallets sells bitcoin with their customer and you don't need those requirements. In our country we use coins.ph wallet and you can buy bitcoin from there and its hassle free and after you buy can transfer it in any trading sites.

For me I don't see any hard time of buying a bitcoin. Because in my wallet you can already buy bitcoin and I don't need to buy in some exchanging sites. If I were you just use wallet that offers bitcoin and aside from that you can store it too there and it is hassle free.

why are you going to buy bitcoin if you can work for it? just work hard for it join in many campaigns so you will get token that is tradable in the market you can earn bitcoin on that, and then you can hold it until how long you want.

Do you know what is the reason why it is becoming hard to buy bitcoins? the answer is simple, the price of the bitcoin is rapidly increasing and becoming more valuable. I always thinking if I bought bitcoins back in 2010,I should now a millionaire if I bought bitcoins back in 2010.

There are so many scammer out there so i dont ever recommend to buy from individual people if you dont know the people very well for example friend. Because it is very risky. Better buy from exchanger example local exchanger.
