The only marketplace that has been really affecter were the mexican market, that saw their currencie loosing almost 10% against dollar, i do believe Trump has something to offer and change at USA and i do hope he can show others how to manage a country, instead steal it.

Coins jumped 30 usd.

So,far so good.
Yes it happens when trump wins, I dont think that this cause from the new elected US president and I don't really think if bitcoin will be affected by the doings of amerika, as china has more important  country related for bitcoin. And maybe if the new admin of america this time will do good about what happen in the middle east maybe botcoin will become much better just my opinion

We can't state that Trump winning cause bitcoin surge and it just for one day, now the price decrease again.
Well, it just a usual fluctuate happening. People could be withdraw their money or sell stocks and invest in bitcoin, but it just speculation.

Well if we see a weaker USD once Trump gets into office then yeah... Probably a good move to buy into BTC as soon as you can. But right now it's all speculative and it's quite hard to predict so I'd say diversify your funds into different investments to make it a bit safer.

Better be safe than sorry.

I am wondering if we get a solid run up in Btc and for any alt coins.

Now that a very unusual result has occurred.

Thoughts ?

My guess is a big shift in prices due to this result.

The Bitcoin world and all the other cryptocurrencies are just a blip on the radar. It is funny that people overestimate Bitcoin's influence on the world and vice versa. A lot of peoplein the mainstream still think that Bitcoin is a scam and a ponzi. If you think deeply about it, it is not that yet but it could be depending on what happens to it 10 - 20 years from now.

So my opinion on the Trump thing would be if he imposes more regulations then that is what Bitcoiners should be looking for because now there is a need for Bitcoin to fill that market just like how it filled the darknet. Imagine if drugs were legal and that you could pay with your credit card for them. That would suck for Bitcoin.

Trump winning the presidency has no effect at all at the price of bitcoin, apparently. Maybe in the later days, if he signs laws that will affect bitcoin, then maybe it will affect the price. But him just winning the seat will not do anything to the price. But if I am wrong, I hope it makes the price higher.

well there was a price increase of some $30-$50, but this is nothing unusual. people tend to make decisions in uncertain times and gold is also a known go to, but this is not a long lasting effect.

What can you expect for? Where on bitcoins flactuating madness and surely there's no stable on the world of crypto's but the good thing for now is we earn more profits for this one at this moment, and just grab the oppurtunity given since for now the momentum is on our side and one thing i hope is this scenario will not stop at this time so we can accumulate more profits in this raging price up.

The USA aren't going to bring in a president purely for an attack on BTC.  They could fund an opperation to control the future of BTC for much cheaper (taking ovr mining dominance etc)

You are right dude, we cannot expect that the future of bitcoin will continue to be progressive. Everything is a gamble though we are decentralized, a nation's decision would also affect the market of bitcoin especially when bag holders live in a certain country.

So far bitcoin goes up, after Trumps election. I don't if that will be continue, but so far it's going well. In my opinion he will support it and maybe he will invest too Wink

I don't see a huff-n-puff in the price of Bitcoins and don't expect the same because it's the nation's politics which as nothing to do with bitcoins and it's values. All I see as a reason behind the price following up is its demand that is increasing daily, and it might only affect the price of bitcoins if Trump himself takes some interest into it and allows free trading of it in US.

Trump is not just a showman as many of us think of him, he is a businessman. He became the president of the United States and must be he already knows about bitcoin, cause of today it is well known source of investment. But now we may only guess about how Trump will affect on bitcoin. Well, we will see.
