Hey guys can you suggest a good way to get people to be intereste in a certain service? Like a promotion or something.
Please suggest anything other than signature campaign, facebook/twitter bounty campaign. I believe those three are not that effective to get long term results.

Well depends on your service. If your service is some sort of website you can make a deal with owners of similar sites to advertise each other. If not you can simply pay for ad on some site where your targeted user group is. You can't find good/effective way if you don't intend to spend some money.

I personally use my design services for earn bitcoin, and I chase a people to looking for designer, it's hard actually you need stay online, but it's not spend any cost, and don't use this forum only, try other forum which have a potential at service marketplace.

One simple catch here must be : people will not test new things which are not beneficial to them initially. Benefits can be anything like entertainment or bounties, else very hard to have effective promotions.

Other than campaigns means free credits through games and around or trail accounts with limited features are some of the ideas to attract people to test your news services.

It would be better if you share the nature of your services. Because, that will help people here to suggest according to the services you are going to provide.

Campaigns and free credits do not have big differences when the service provider concerning about budget. Might be affiliate programs will work better because people will work for their referral earning that might give extra boost to the business.

Yes definitely, to suggest better promotion method we must need to know the nature of service. Still, I believe many common promotion methods will be applicable to any services regardless of its nature .

I recommend facebook ads, but may i know what kind of service you want to promote?
Well with facebook advertising, you can get  specific audiences that are likely to be interested in your products or your services, for example if your service is bitcoin related, the ads only showed for those who are interested on bitcoin, (like my fb account, mostly ads out there are bitcoin related due to i have like so many pages about bitcoin ) just tell Facebook to whom your ads should be displayed, so you're not wasting your time and money.

But if your service is bitcoin related i think this forum is also the best way to promote them and other forum like thebot, since they have huge traffic and 100% of them are bitcoin enthusiast.

Torrents are not legal in some countries. If you country is legal though for torrents you can place an add with banner impressions to lots of persons with 150 USD for more than 15 mln banners I think in uTorrent program. I don't know if this is a good result but I got 32 referrals in a program of mine which is not allowed to being named here as is against forum rules.

Maybe for your website you can get more. You can even try for a 15 USD minimum amount of advertising. Hope this helps.

Promotion for what are you looking for?

If you have a site and want traffic, you can offer some giveaways for limited time. If you are a faucet owner you can offer double reward on determinated day of week and promote it on Twitter, Facebook... That is a good way to bring more users to your site. Marketing is the key for the business success.

Organizing some meeting or reference is the most effective way to get more attention of people. This will bring your service as well as your activity to a whole new level. This will only work if you decide to make a big project or service such as developing a new kind of wallet or new altcoin.

From what I see, news websites is very effective if your service related to Crypto currencies, there are several popular websites like cryptocoin news, coin telegraph, and newsbtc.....
I think those sites have thousands of visitors everyday, and I believe your service banner will draws the attention there if it is useful service., but honestly I do not have any idea about how much does it cost to put an advertisment on those sites.

Depends what are you trying to promote and what are your targeted customers. Without this information it's hard to say but you can try with online ads, banners, news websites and social networks, of course. Maybe some leaflets or similar. Depends also how much funds you can and like to spend for this.

An announcement topic and just generating traffic will not guarantee for the success of a new services until an effective promotion will encourage people to test that services. Paid to click/traffic exchange too will just generate traffic but will never guarantee that people will avail a particular services.

Hardly a person wakes up and thinks " today I am in order to hire a service! If I get an advertisement, I'll definitely buy it! "

Usually people hire services to solve a problem that is disrupting their daily lives. Since selling a service is more difficult than a product, offering your service to those who do not have the problem you solve is worse than selling ice (a product) to Eskimo.

So, before investing heavily in publicizing your service, understand very well what problem the client needs to have to hire you. This is much more efficient than shooting everywhere and seeing where the shot hits.

For example, if I tell you "I cut grass, hire me!" Probably the result will be a lot weaker than if I asked, "Is your tall grass bothering you? If so, I can help you sort it out! "

I read this in an article. In my opinion you have to create a landing page and create beautiful banners that talk about your service after you pay ads on sites that are in some way related to your niche market.

If your website is ok as per Google policies,  you can try Google adwords for advertising and get 100 % genuine targeted traffic. OR , Nowadays,  most responsive way of promotion in my country is sms advertising. This is the most responsive method to get guaranteed visitors. Because,  if you receive mail, mostly you ignore it, but if you receive any sms related to make money or anything useful to you. You always react and check out the website immediately.
