Ethereum is not dead yet. It is going through a sharp correction as price was being pumped massively in 1 year. It would take some time for Ethereum to find a bottom as whales are going into Monero and Bitcoin.
Ethereum will not die as there are many projects under their banner.

actually the real whales of ethereum has not gone anywhere, the regular trader whales have gone and that is why price crashed. but the real whales holding the majority of the coins are still there, you can see them pump the coin today and also you can see their protective buy walls all over the place.

It'll likely recover, after price spikes the economy has to catch up once in circulation.

No matter the risk, alt-coins are where increased emphasis is at right now as per recency in BTC gains. Alts should follow so pick out the right ones. I know of payment processors exceeding others demand for Bitcoin, LiteCoin & DogeCoin.

Beware of losses and ensure you pick the right one as otherwise the opportunity may pass by.

The price has already recovered from recent lows.

in case of this particular altcoin (ethereum) the price recovers only because it has too many whale manipulators who will prevent the crash of it and will push the price up again. you can see their huge buy walls on poloniex each time price is getting dumped pretty hard.

No matter the risk, alt-coins are where increased emphasis is at right now

actually altcoins have never had the increased emphasis! it is all about bitcoin and it has always been like this. people want bitcoin and that is why they trade altcoins. they do it to make more bitcoin when they make a profit.

I want to agree with "altcoins following the bitcoin rise" but this has so many exceptions that the rule itself does no longer apply. I mean in the past there has been multiple occasions that altcoins did not follow bitcoin and they even went the other way.

That is right. The spread between bitcoin and altcoin could be wider.
