Buying ZCoin: Yes or No?

Zcoin is not Zcash btw, different coins. Zcoin is not on poloniex yet, apparently it solves the problems that Zcash has with good compromises in the anonimity. What do you think? is this the next "get rich overnight" coin or is it going to get dumped hard as soon as it hits poloniex? we'll see.

Thanks for the post. I also wants to get information if I have to
invest in Zcoin. Because as I observed the price is getting higher
in C-cex and others are promoting this coin. Let's wait for the
others opinion about the Zcoin.

i think zcoin is overshadowed by zcash and its botnet are putting it in a bad condition, i think i may well avoid it and don't buy, i don't like botnet coin, they usually kill the coin and make it unprofitable for everyone

Zcash still very overbought and until december the price will be falling.
zcoin or any other zcash like project will suffer too.

zcoin seems better than zcash to me.. i was mining it but since the price have crashed i've stopped.
about zcash.. the 20% to founders really annoys me. i'd never go for it.

Well, we already know Zcash is continuing to keep stagnating as the coins keep getting generated, but what we also know is that before it started stagnatng, there was a great pump.

The question here is to find out if Zcoin will have a big pump too.

I would rather not buy it. ZCoin is not as known as Zcash and newbies will be confused by the names similarity. There is always problem with coins with similar names.
People usually think that one coin is trying to slide on the popularity of the other and ZCoin might be a victim of this stereotype.

Absolute NO.

A coin like this had a blatant plan (unbeknownst to the average user) from the start, and will (in my opinion) be manipulating the markets all day and night. Especially when you consider the huge price & volatility, entering the ZCoin market (especially now) would be too big a risk for me to recommend anyone take.

Pereira4, I've read a lot of your posts over the last 2 years and I respect your thoughts and opinions. As far as ZCoin goes, never heard of it. I know you've been around long enough to know that pretty much all of these shitcoins are absolutely not worth buying. Who's going to ever use most of them? What's the advantage this ZCoin? Why buy it as opposed to bitcoin? Or DOGE? Or Litecoin?

You could probably make a fast buck if the sentiment is good, but you know damn well it's a huge gamble.

I warned people not to buy it yet in the ann thread, you will get stuck holding the bag all the way down to 30k satoshi and lose all of your BTC

Zcoin needs to find a price where people will mine it but not sell it. IIUC there will be 7200 new coins released every day for the next 4 years.

Someone needs to buy these (assuming miners are selling) , every day, for 4 years before the block size halves.

The price might have to be one tenth of what it is now before miners wont sell....but that is just my guess and could be very wrong.
