Anyone can get into gambling, it depends on whether you like gambling or not. in gambling no one can get long term profit, there is only win or lose and also a bit of luck in it. I think gambling is not a good investment

but gambling is not a good choice for a newbie because they will continue to get addicted. I am also so when making the choice to gamble I am addicted for 3 years, It's difficult to stop and not change my life too.

Both gambling and betting are equally addictive in nature and hence we cannot find any good impact from introducing these to a newbie. Yes you are right gambling make us addicted . I am also addicted over 2 years. I am willing to leave it now but it is tough. It is always better to develop a skill other than gambling. you may be attracted by some easy money maybe you can win them also. But most likely you will waste  2-3 years getting addicted and only wasting time. Better to stay away from that.

yeah, One should be well aware of the pros and cons of gambling before stepping into it. But somewhat I disagree that you need strategies in gambling. You can only check out whether the site is scam or not, nothing else. Strategies have to do nothing with winning bet. You can only do statistics about your bet, nothing else. To be frank Betting shouldn't be for the newbie because it requires all lot of knowledge and risk. Newbies should engage themselves on things that are not too risky so that they will learn how things are being done.

I am invested in multiple bankrolls. And I play whenever I feel "lucky" or want some quick fun. Only with amounts I don't really care about too much though. I try to keep it at the edge where I slowly start feeling the played sums, but never push too far beyond that. Playing with too little isn't very much fun either after all.

I'm quite surprised that there's so many warnings and words of cautions about this on these forums actually. But it's difficult to really inform the broad masses about gambling or anything in general. This is mostly because a lot of people are very lazy and don't want to spend time researching anything. They just want to make money fast with no effort, so they will go and get burnt left and right.
But that's fine too, people will learn either way. Either through research and the good-will of a lot of posters, or by burning themselves.
