Hi.

Im thinking about getting into bitcoin mining.

I would like to use Nicehash, and my question is what the payrate is at nicehash.

How much power MHs GHs PHs do i need to get before it pays off.

Hope someone can give me some insight, on the payrate/hashingrate

The reason is, that electricity in Denmark is pretty expencieve (0,34USD/KWh) and before i begin to buy hardware, i need to know if i can earn money on it.

Best Regards:

You'd earn more at a decent pool than nicehash. At that rate even the S9 would be hard to turn a profit giving the power consumption and the cost of the machine.

What would you consider a descent pool?

Depends on the hashrate of the miner you have/will have. Anything less than 1Th is pretty pointless. Kano.is is the most well recommended but if you want bigger payouts at a slower rate then bitminter.com is a good pool too.

if you are paying 34 us cents for a kwatt don't mine for profit.

that said if you want to mine for heat find an older antminer s-3  as it is pretty quiet.

Set it at a low clock then

point that antminer s-3 at http://solo.ckpool.org/

you either get nothing  (most likely)  or you hit a block (very unlikely).

but you will burn around 300 watts and have a space heater  that does 300 watts.

300 watts = 7.2 kwatts a day  which is 216 kwatts a month.  that is 73.44 usd per month  lost other then you get some heat.

but you do have a shot at every block as long as you run it.
